About the adventure
The USS Pathfinder is a Pioneer Class Utility Cruiser set in The Original Series timeline during the Enterprise's original 5 year mission. She is primarily an exploration vessel heading out to the unexplored areas of the galaxy to discover new scientific anomalies, new worlds and civilizations, and to boldly explore where no one has explored before.

About me
I've played TTRPGs on an off since the early 1980s starting with AD&D. Some of my favorite RPG games include Star Trek Adventures 2E, Twilight 2000 4th Ed, Alien RPG, The One Ring 2nd Ed, Mӧrk Borg, Pirate Borg, Call of Cthulhu 7E, and Pathfinder 2E. I have, in the past, run one shots of STA 1E & 2E, Mork and Pirate Borg, Marvel Multiverse, and a full Abomination Vaults PF2E Campaign that wrapped up the end of August 2025. I currently have 1 campaign of STA2E running on Tuesdays. Some other games I've played include Warhammer W&G, Alien RPG, City in the Mist, Quest RPG, and Call of Cthulhu. Games I am looking forward to running in the future would be Space 1999, Call of Cthulhu 7E, and Fallout. All my games are free for the foreseeable future meaning they will not show up as games run on my profile.

Creating your character
Character creation may occur prior to Session 0 using the following rules: Core Rulebook, plus all division books and players guide. Races should be limited to basic Federation friendly races available during the TOS era (Human, Vulcan, Tellarite, Andorian, Caitian, Denobulan, etc). Any non-canon races can be created after discussion about the player's idea with the GM. Those who do not create in advance will create their characters during Session 0 using an online character generator found at https://sta.bcholmes.org/ using the same rules above. I will need the players to send a PDF of their character sheet once created so I can import it into Foundry VTT.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Players will need a microphone, a webcam not required, experience with rules helpful but not necessary, experienced players may create their characters ahead of time but will require review by GM during Session 0.
What Horus Greyfury brings to the table
I will create player tokens for PC Characters using Heroforge Pro. Images of how the character should look will be helpful. I have all the rule books required to run the game.

How Horus Greyfury creates a safe table
The game will start off as a teaching game and over time will evolve into full rule set usage. The first episode will primarily be for new players to be introduced to game mechanics. The game will proceed as a random mix of homebrew episodes, as well as professionally created episodes modified to fit within the voyage. These episodes will not normally be connected in a standard campaign format, but there may be episodes that continue a small specific story arc within the overall Voyage.
