About the adventure
The snows came early this year. What began as a bitter frost has become a relentless storm and from within it marches death. At the head of a monstrous army, the Frost Giant King, Hrungar the Icebound, descends from the Spine of the World with a singular goal: raze the city of Neverwinter and carve his dominion from its frozen ruins. This is a battle for survival. As elite heroes of Neverwinter - seasoned adventurers, cunning mages, and fearless warriors - you have been summoned to fight. With the city in chaos under the weight of the siege, and civilians desperate for salvation, you must hold back the tide and strike at the heart of the invasion before Neverwinter is lost to eternal winter. Siege of Neverwinter is a high-stakes, combat-heavy one-shot designed for 5th-level characters. Expect fast-paced action, intense tactical choices, and a cinematic climax against a towering villain of mythic power. Whether you’re a veteran player or newer to D&D, this adventure invites you to step into the boots of a hero during the final, desperate hours of a legendary city’s defense. This game is for players who love epic fantasy, heroic last stands, and fighting overwhelming odds with grit, courage, and a touch of magic. Will you rise to meet the challenge - or be buried beneath the ice?

About me
Hi, and thanks for taking the time to learn a little more about me! I'm an indie game developer with a deep passion for history, storytelling, and the immersive power of games—whether they're on a screen or around a table. My tabletop journey began back in university, where a close-knit group of friends and I would take turns running one-shot adventures. After graduation, I joined the Canadian Armed Forces, and during that time tabletop games remained a cornerstone of my life. I often ran games with fellow officers as a way to have fun while passing the time. After completing my service, I decided to pursue my lifelong dream and went back to school to study video game development. That experience allowed me to sharpen my understanding of game mechanics, player engagement, and interactive narrative design. I’ve since worked on a range of projects, from board games to digital games, always with a focus on finding fresh, compelling ways to tell stories. Throughout it all, TTRPGs have remained a constant passion. I've had the privilege of playing and GMing in a variety of systems, often collaborating with fellow designers and storytellers to explore new mechanics and worldbuilding techniques. I love experimenting with ways to make player choices more meaningful and to weave character arcs seamlessly into the broader narrative.

How Brandon creates a safe table
Players can look forward to a rich, immersive roleplaying experience across a wide variety of situations and encounters. NPCs are designed to be inclusive, diverse, and genuinely fun to engage with - many of whom will be romanceable, if that’s something you’re interested in exploring. This campaign will be run using Foundry VTT, a flexible and intuitive virtual tabletop that perfectly suits the sandbox-style, improvisational storytelling I enjoy. Combined with Theater of the Mind, this setup allows for maximum player freedom. Creating a respectful and enjoyable environment is my top priority. To support that, I use the following safety tools: ✅ Consent Form - Every player fills this out prior to the campaign to establish Lines & Veils ✅ Mid-Session Break - A 10-15 minute break to recharge ✅ Open-Door Policy - Reach out to me anytime with questions, feedback, or concerns ✅ Tone Balance - Even in darker-themed stories, I lean toward humor when possible - fun comes first. ___ What a player will experience in this Campaign Roleplaying - 🔥🔥🔥 Politics - 🔥🔥🔥🔥 Tactics/Combat - 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
