About the adventure

Hail brave vampire hunters! Step through the mists into the cursed land of Barovia and test your might against Count Strahd von Zarovich and his monstrous minions. This iteration of DnD's gothic horror favorite has been heavily modified with additional NPCs, quests and encounters. This additional content is meant to provide adventurers with opportunities to earn additional power and resources to aid them in their quest. Be warned however. Even the mightiest heroes will face deadly challenges within the halls of Castle Ravenloft. -The Game- All base classes and the Revised Ranger are welcome as are most races. Characters will be built and managed using Roll20 Character Sheets. The GM will be available to assist. Custom Backgrounds will be allowed for Player Characters with GM approval. Player Characters will use a predetermined starting set of 18, 16, 14, 12, 10 and 9 for stats. Player Characters may choose a single bonus feat at character creation. Player Characters may begin with a single common magical item of their choice, subject to GM approval. During level up, player characters receive maximum hitpoints rather than rolling. Player Characters will begin the game with the Starting Equipment for their class. A vote will be held during Session Zero to decide whether characters will level up through accumulated XP or the Milestone system with Milestone as default. A Discord Server devoted to the campaign will be used for Voice communication during each session. I will be available over Discord as often as possible. All players are expected to treat each other and the GM with courtesy and respect. Discrimination and Harassment will not be tolerated. -Schedule- Time slots may change if all players agree on a time that works better for them. No changes to the schedule will be made without the consent of the entire party. Each session is tailored to last roughly four hours with a twenty minute intermission. -Legal- The vast majority of maps, visual assets and art used in this campaign are not of my own creation and I do not claim ownership over them. The rules, creatures, classes and the module itself are part of the 5th Edition Dungeons and Dragons system. All payments rendered are compensation for my GM services only.
