About the adventure
"We are all trapped in this place. City of factories, wondrous sparkcraft and illegal cults, city of legalized corruption and righteous crimes. We are not most people. We break laws, deal with spirits and refuse to grind our life in the system, only to die and find no rest. The sunlight was shattered, and we're all the better for it, for we are Blades in the Dark. Welcome to Doskvol. Don't go down quietly!" Welcome all - newbies and veterans - to my Blades's game! The pitch: Peaky Blinders meets ghosts. The setting is a haunted industrial-fantasy. Play as members of a crew of Assassins, Thieves, Mercenaries, Smugglers, Vice Dealers, Cultists...each crew has their own sheet and stats. The classes for this game are all for playing bad ass criminals, each specializing in violence (Cutter), hunting (Hound), inventions (Leech), stealth (Lurk), manipulation (Slide), planning (Spider), or occultism (Whisper) Here we'll execute heists, enter chases, contend with occultism, ghosts, vampires and ancient horror gods, engage in gang wars, strike deals, and make a fortune - or die trying! Tools used: *Roll20 *Discord for voice chat, with Streamyards as alternative. Homebrew rules
*As an option, if you wish to play as a seasoned criminal, you may take an additional special ability from any playbook in exchange for 1 Trauma. *Custom playbooks might get approval, as long as everyone agrees to it. * In the last XP trigger, the text will be altered to: "You have faced significant setbacks caused by your injuries or personality"
