About the adventure
The world is a wasteland of failures past, and yet you must ride out into it, unafraid. The gods are long dead, their thrones cold and empty, their miracles nothing more than fading echoes. Across the shattered lands of Agathis, the sun sets upon a world teetering on the edge of oblivion. Ruined cities sink into ashen earth, while demons stalk the night. Whispers tell of horrors stirring beneath the soil, ancient things that were never meant to wake. Your predecessor has vanished and the king has left you a hamlet in his stead, and while the lands are valuable, multiple eyes have set upon it, for better or worse. Hope, the very last of it, is now in your grasp. To either stand the tide against oblivion or to hasten ruin's arrival, the spark that will set this world ablaze is yours to wield. --- This adventure will throw you headfirst into managing and building up a small town with plenty of inhabitants, political intrigue as factions fight over control and dangerous creatures that lurk the dark. Can you rise through the dangers and make it out ahead? Creating your character
Character creation will be done within DnDBeyond. Upon joining you'll be given a link to join my DnDBeyond campaign which will give you access to all of the published Dungeons & Dragons character options. Characters will begin at level 3*. 🎲 Point Buy ❤️ Fixed or Rolled** HP *In case a player new to D&D joins, characters will start at level 2 to ease their introduction to the system. **Rolls must be witnessed by DM All official 5e content is available, and homebrew options may be considered on a case-by-case basis. For your backstory, we can work together to fit it into the world to make a story truly fitting your needs.
What to expect
Preparing for the session

Players will NOT need: ❌ Dice ❌ Books or character sheets ❌ Pre-existing knowledge of the game Before the game, please ensure you have Discord installed on your device. If you're new to Discord or these services, don't worry! Beginners are always welcome, and I'm happy to help with any technical questions or setup ahead of time. Once you're in the Discord server, I'll be available to assist with character creation or anything else you need. *All other prep will be completed during session 0.

I’ll handle the story, maps, and all the mechanical necessities for the game. Additionally, I’ll provide access to a shared DnDBeyond campaign, giving you all the character creation options you need. I also have a Forge/Foundry VTT license, so you won’t need to purchase anything to play.
Homebrew rules
I use quite some homebrew rules in my games, mostly for the convenience of players. - Drinking a healing potion requires a bonus action instead of an action - Drinking a healing potion as an action grants max healing rather than rolling - Reviving from the dying state grants one point of exhaustion (There's probably a bunch I am missing but unable to conjure up at the moment, I'll make sure if the occasion happens that you are informed and that we all agree on the ruleset) Optional hardcore rules: - Taking a critical hit grants an injury (a debilitating effect rolled on an injury table, such as losing a limb or receiving a scar.)

How Poofo creates a safe table
Safety tools keep everyone at the table comfortable, so the focus can stay on the game we all love! Session 0️⃣: Everyone starts on the same page with the same rules. Lines and veils: Setting boundaries on what content is off limits and what content should be left behind a fade-to-black Open-Door: An assurance that you can take a break and step away at any moment without judgement. Debriefing: After a session we will have the chance to reconvene and discuss what went right and what went wrong during sessions, allowing us to improve further experiences.
