About the adventure

The Stolen Lands for ages have been the target of empires attempting to expand their lands and material wealth, however due to the inhabitants, the geography, and the logistical nightmare of it all, these attempts never truly came to fruition, make your mark on the world of Golarion and become a Kingmaker! Hello all! Im Sydney (She/Her) and i run Tabletop RPGs! This would be my first time running for a paid game, but I've been running TTRPGs since 2019 and have extensive experience with cooperative storytelling.

About me

Hello! I'm Sydney (or just Syd if you prefer) Im a trans woman that really loves TTRPGs!!! I'm a pretty chill gm that's in it for the cooperative storytelling angle, I like it most when systems take advantage of the medium of Table Top Role Playing! Other than that I've been running and playing TTRPGs for a little over 6 years now with a good amount of that being homebrew adventures and some of it being pre-written ones. Most of my hobbies involve table-top RPGs in one way or another (i.e. homebrew/tabletop game design stuff!) I have extensive Foundry experience, and I run most of my game on it, though Foundry knowledge is never a requirement for my games!

Character creation

Creating your character

This adventure and the way I intend on running it is going to be beginner-friendly, so I'll be explaining character creation as well as basic rules of the game if required, the adventure itself (assuming we play from start to finish) goes from levels 1 to 20 so it may be a long haul. Finally, we'll be playing with Free Archetype and Ancestral Paragon rules to ensure players get to really flesh out their builds.

The current party

Thus far we have 3 martials and 1 Skill Monkey For martials we have a Magus (spellsword glass canon type), a Ranger, a Commander (Think fighter but with some fun support abilities), and a rogue

What to expect

Preparing for the session

For platforms, we'll be using Discord and Foundry VTT, so do ensure your PC can run Google Chrome or Firefox at a decent speed and that you have a good microphone before starting, cameras are allowed but not required.

What Syd brings to the table

The way I run games tends towards connecting character backstory to main plot beats and having entire side quests dedicated to single character backstories. I occasionally do character voices, we'll be using alot of ambient music and sounds, as the foundry module comes with it, for combats we can do whatever difficulty the players would like, Im cool with running harder or easier combats depending on what the players are comfortable with!

Homebrew rules

We will be using Rule of Cool, in that if it makes sense that your character can do it (and/or if its cool), they can, assuming they meet any role or whatever we handwave onto the spot.

Safety

How Syd creates a safe table

We'll be using X-Cards and Consent Forms for safety tools so that I know what to keep and what topics, creatures, or other things to avoid.
