About the adventure
You run a lovely, standard coffee shop now that you've retired from the adventuring life. The only problem if you still live in a world full of Gods, monsters and random occurrences. As a party you will work together to grow your coffee shop and become connected to your community. But along the way, you'll have to go scavenge for ingredients, quell the thirst of vicious gods, and hunt down monsters for their parts. You may be retired, but you'll certainly put your adventuring skills to use.

About me
Itching for adventure and immersive storytelling? Then I'm your GM! A kind fae that would definitely never steal your name, soul, or anything else of the sort, and I resent the accusation! I have a background in theatre and years of playing pretend in the woods, so expect lots of over the top roleplay, whimsy, and lots of in depth worlds! I place a lot of important on open communication, rule simplifying, and above all else, having a great time. Of course, new players are more than welcome at all of my games! I love building worlds that feel lived in, with a lot of culture and many individual characters. I also LOVE taking the ideas my players give me, and running with them. So don't be surprised when that one small joke you made during character creation comes back at a large scale in the story! I am flexible, adapt to my player's needs and put great effort in my games. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me!

Creating your character
We will have a session 0 where all of the rules will be explained and everyone will create their characters together. We will be using 2 systems in tandem: Stewpots and Venture. They both have very simple character creation that relies on the player selecting an adventuring class. This class will be used for both systems. Whe the party is in the shop you will use your move sets from Stewpots and when you are out adventuring in the world you will use your moves from venture. Stewpots, additionally, makes you select a town class, which will advance during the story.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Make sure to have a discord account so you can join the server and be prepared to schedule session 0 with the group. In the server the rulebooks will be available to you to read if you are feeling up to it, but the rules will be explained and reviewed during session 0.
What Alex Teatime brings to the table
I will provide a slideshow and document with all of the rules laid out easily for access, as well as the rulebooks and character sheets. I am a rule of cool GM and care most about telling a compelling stroy where eevryone feels involved and safe. We will have safety tools and review them as a group. I do a lot of character voices and have done a lot of intricate world building for this story. There are over 30 gods to encounter and a rich world to dig into as your character settled down in their life.
Homebrew rules
We will be mixing the two systems Stewpots and Venture inorder to tell an indepth story of recovering adventurers who decide to settle down and build their coffee shop in a village. Usually after 3 mini games in the Stewpots system, we would take a break and then play the Wear and Tear mini game. For our story we will instead take an adventure, depending on how the group would like to explore the world, this will give the group extra bonuses to their tavern and allow them to explore the impluses to go back to their lives of adventure. The structure of character building for both systems is nearly identical so it will be quite easy to integrate the two and just gives the players more options for moves to use during scenes, as well as allows them to explore outside of the shop a bit more than Stewpots allows for.

How Alex Teatime creates a safe table
This story is going to have themes based off of classic mythology so things might get a bit dark depending on how much the players want to explore the gods and their pasts. We will go over things people are not comfortable with exploring in detail during our session 0. There will also be check-ins and after care whenever there is an intense session, as well as frequent breaks that are built into the system itself.
