About the adventure
Over a thousand years ago the Demon Queen, Nehebkelat, ruled an empire that spanned a continent and subjugated nations. At her side were her four dreadful generals, each of whom led her vast armies of corrupted mortals marching toward their bloody cause of domination. Desperate for a solution that would return the lands to control of the mortals and break the empire of blood’s stranglehold, the Eyes of Aten imprisoned Nehebkelat and her generals. Using powerful magic they shackled them deep within a sacred vault built in an uncharted desert from which no escape would be possible for a thousand years. But words of an ancient prophesy and the guidance of a retired adventurer seem to indicate the ancient seal keeping her away will break soon, and the Demon Queen shall be unleashed upon this realm once more to feast on our souls. Only if the seal is remade, and the Demon Queen's slumber is extended, will the Realm be saved, as The Demon Queen Awakens Using wonderful modules made by TheRipper93 to enhance certain aspects of Foundry, a collection of tools such as Dice so Nice to make rolling dice more dynamic and ambience included within the adventure's official module, I hope to bring you a gritty and nail-biting adventure as you delve into the Vault of Aten

About me
Greetings! Name's Henry :) I've been DMing for about 5 years now, and came to the conclusion I really do adore this hobby. So I figured "Hey, why not try to do it professionally?" and here we are. I'll try to give you the best tabletop experience I can offer, and try to accomodate to your needs. I usually focus on character storytelling a fair bit, so I'll try to bring your lil fantasy dude/dudette/dude-other to life :D (Although I do love me some good combat). So join me, unlikely hero, as we explore a world of my creation!

What Henry brings to the table
I'm a DM that deeply enjoys setting the scene with sound effects and ambient music. I think they're paramount to immersing someone in a story, and hope to bring the adventure and its character to life for you! Rules wise, I like to generally stick with rules when a rule applies to a situation or solves a conundrum for me, but will make Rule of Cool calls when the situation calls for it or make slight adjustments if you want to try something creative or bend the rules in some way. No "I use Shape Water to fill the enemies lungs with it and kill them" moves, however.
Homebrew rules
Healing potions can be used as an action to heal the max amount they can provide, and as a bonus action for rolling like normal. Potions with special effects, such as a Potion of Growth, can be used as an action or bonus action.

How Henry creates a safe table
We take 5-10 minute breaks along the middle point of every session to unwind and let everyone get snacks or step away for a moment if required. We also use X cards to avoid any topics that might come up that make anyone uncomfortable and the Monte Cook RPG Consent List to make sure the sessions never reach the point the X cards are needed. We will have a session 0 before the game starts to discuss all these topics and handle character creation
