About me
Hello, I am 27 and have been DMing on and off and playing as a player for the last 8 years. Here, I hope to offer a bit of fun to others by sharing my game with those who wish for a good experience.

Creating your character
We will have a session 0 where players among themselves can speak on what they like, what they have in mind and we will as a group build characters together. Throughout the game's duration, I will assign some optional homework to parties with questions regarding their characters to make for them to being stronger and also allowing players to continue to think about the game even outside of the scheduled times played. If there is room for a party member to come in past session 0, then time will be set that they may either choose to sit in and watch the game a bit before making a decision on joining (No cost will be had for simply watching without playing) and then after session is over, they may make a character and have it ready for their first session as a pre-established character somewhere in the world with their own history and understanding as to "why they are there and why go to said party" ETC. I will not allow newer players hours before session begins to just plug and play because I care too much about the quality of the game to allow a character to simply just enter into the game without thoroughly developing a backstory that is suitably heavy enough for character depth. I would like to ensure any and all characters understand the way and what to their existence before allowing them a staple place within lands.
Fresh and new! We will gather, speak on what it is we hope to be for Session 0.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Discord and Roll20. Webcam is optional, voice is required in the Discord when we start. I'd like to also ask of all of my players to be as ready as they can. Go to the restroom, settle any affairs before entering into call and if you need the extra minute or two, then simply shoot a message in the public channels letting us know you are just running late. No big deal or anything.
What Fenrick brings to the table
My GM style provides a lot I think of what makes a game great. I use a voice modulator on occasion, I do voice acting for all of my characters as I go, and I am often keeping a close eye on the music and ambiance to ensure that people feel as immersed as possible before and throughout the game's duration. At the very beginning of the game, I will go through my own notes on what had happened last session and offer up opportunity to be corrected on some details or add onto things that had happen that the players want to highlight. Let's me also know what players find most interesting or important about each and every session. During the session, I will loosely guide a narrative element with opportunity for creative thinking, meaningful conversations and most importantly? Loot that is at times handcrafted with a character in mind or because I think it is simply neat. I will provide creatures, scenarios for us all to hopefully remember as being these epic journeys together until the very end. To which each session, at the very end. I will ask for any criticism or concerns before anyone takes flight. It is important to me that everyone is having a great time and I will happily stay behind for anyone who has something they want to speak privately on in hopes things are best made and fit better for the experience of all. Now, throughout the weeks of play, any player may reach out with any desires one has in mind for what they hope to achieve. Loosely in that if it's possible and can be done with the story's narrative flare in mind, then that is what I may intend to do if it sounds cool.
Homebrew rules
Spells do not require a component in order to cast but a focus on the person must be present and on the person. Cleaving; If you are within 5 feet of another target when you strike down an opponent with a melee attack (Or if it has reach, within range), you can carry the excess to the other target in mind. All potions are a bonus action to take a drink of. Study and Practice, During long rests, you may read a book with an investigation ability check. The books difficulty starts high but lowers every time you finish reading for the hours. Succeeding, you can gain benefits such as proficency and expertise on a skill! (These books will require several long rests, starting at a proficency book 30 and a expertise book will be 50 or lowered to 20 if already proficent.) Succession starts at base DC of 10, and lowers the DC by 5. A 15 DC or higher will make the book's DC lowered by 10 and a natural 20 will lower it by 20. Generally speaking, books will take 2-4 days to finish or 3-8 to finish expertise books.

How Fenrick creates a safe table
Safety is my number one concern when starting the game. It will be one of the first things spoken about at session 0. We will ensure lines are established asap and any veils are marked. I will make a channel where it is highlighted at the table. DMs for me will remain open at all times throughout the week and I as your loving host will ensure everyone is treated fairly and is taken care of.
