Well, whatever he discovered, it must be a big deal, because someone ambushed him and dragged him away to a gang leader known only as “the Black Spider.” Meanwhile, beneath the earth, a new threat sings. How MJ creates a safe table
The content warnings detailed here list items that are likely to appear in the game. This is not a complete list of sensitive content that might arise in-session. Part of our Session 0 will involve discussing players’ comfort levels with potentially triggering subjects, and the game can be altered to minimize or avoid certain elements. Players who join mid-campaign should discuss these topics with the GM during weekly office hours. Certain themes are so central to the text that to remove them from the game would be to fundamentally alter the campaign. In the first half of this adventure, a hostage is taken and tortured for information off-screen, while the second half of this campaign involves physical and mental transformation at the hands of an extraterrestrial force. Large portions of this adventure take place in caverns, which might be distressing for claustrophobic players. Tabletop role-playing games are meant to be an escape from the horrors of the real world. Above-table prejudices such as racism, misogyny, homophobia, and transphobia are unacceptable at my table and will lead to your immediate removal without refund, as well as a ban from all future tables hosted by this GM.
