About me

I always loved watching my parents run games of their own. Seeing or helping create a whole new world to make it a wonderful experience for others. It’s why I wanted to be a dm. Making it an interesting yet challenging time. Keeping it worth it. Lots of homebrew items or creatures! I love making the players slowly figure their background out for their characters as the sessions go! Makes everyone wonder what will happen next! You create your character give me a base description and imma add in the other parts!

Character creation

Creating your character

We will have a Session 0 where you will be introduced to the world and its lore and mechanics. You will be assisted in building your character. All players start at Level 1 but there are many opportunities to level or rank up. Our discord has a new player guide and other handouts you can use, and I will work with you to figure out your powers and your mutation tree.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

Join the discord server and check the new player guides and handouts, there is plenty of lore for you to find while you wait for Session 1 so read as much as you can to learn the secrets of the Hero Society world and The Cradle. After joining the Discord and reading up on the lore, get your dice ready for Session 0 where we will make your character and introduce you to the world.

What Entity brings to the table

I will use music and poetry written by The Cradle and other NPCs and create other lore-rich items for players to enhance their experience. My husband is an author and helps me create in-game items and artifacts. I have a tendency to allow roleplay over rules, the dice are the final decider on how well it works.

Homebrew rules

No Truth Spells! No Spell/power slots to use or run out of for low level spells, high level spells use slots. When in doubt, roll a d20.

Safety

How Entity creates a safe table

Session 0 will be an introductory session to help you build a character and get accustomed to the game mechanics and my play style. Each session will have a 15+ minute post-session check in where each player can say how they feel about the session and what they want out of the next session. Please message me personally with X N or O when needed/asked or put it in the group chat so the other players know to be careful or pull back. All players deserve a safe and supportive game, and I will do as much as I can to guarantee that. If there is anything that would make the game feel more comfortable, don't hesitate to bring it up while we wait for the session to begin or while we do the post-session check-in.
