The Hellfire Cycle - A 5e Campaign!

Kyle is not only a wealth of knowledge but an excellent storyteller. As DM, he is great with both beginners and experienced players, and can create a world where any level of experience is accommodated in smooth and seamless gameplay. He also allows ample room for gamer creativity, so there’s never a dull moment. I’ve been a part of several campaigns in my time with D&D, and I can confidently say that Kyle has provided the best overall experience, including use of music/background and great NPCs. I would rate him an 11 if I could.

Kyle is a very player forward game master with a focus on the player experience and agency. He is able to provide an experience that varies in terms of flavor and genre I have had the pleasure to sit through terrifying tales, ludicrous odysseys, and flavorful fantasies with him as a game master. He is able to work with a detailed character background to be incorporated into an overarching story as well as be flexible enough have the creative imagination for more blank slate backgrounds provided to him.

I started playing DnD with KB as my first DM. he was incredibly patient and super helpful. he is very familiar with the game and makes us all feel like we are in the story book. the plot lines are well thought out and i have never been able to guess the next event. every character he introduces has a complex background and a unique voice. i have played three campaigns with him at this point and couldn’t imagine having a more fun DM.

After playing through two campaigns and a one shot led by KB, I can’t recommend him enough for a fantastic DnD experience. The effort that he puts into world building always keeps me engaged and builds up to gratifying payoffs for the players that goes beyond simply conquering a random boss. He is responsive to your personal play style, and your character’s motivations. He can guide beginners and help players be as creative as they want to be. 10/10!

Kyle is great at making the game feel immersive. His world building accommodates our whole group and for every wild turn we take he has a plan, and when he doesn’t he’s great at improvisation. He knows when to take the story in a serious direction and when to have a little fun with it.
