The Cave of Penance - a short 8th Level Dungeon
A short dungeon set in a cave underneath a desert city that starts of with the PC's being arrested.
About the adventure
A Short Dungeoncrawling oneshot that somewhat ties into a larger campaign as a kind of "prequel", without either being really neccessary to play the other. starts of in a city in the center of a Desert, where the pcs have been arrested for a crime against the religious order. As am 8th level caster you have a lot of options to just leave the situation. Please don't do that, your character will just not participate in the adventure if you do that.

Creativity
He's a solid game master — he knows the rules and delivers an unorthodox play experience. I'd broadly categorize his style as weird fantasy with some classic elements for familiarity. If you're into mechanics-heavy, well-crafted adventures with lots of tactical combat, you'll be in good hands — especially if you enjoy builds, systems, and wacky stuff. He's got a pleasant personality and does his best to make everyone feel welcome, as long as your playstyle isn't disruptive.
Character creation
Creating your character
Create your characters at level 8, using pointbuy, don't worry about any equipment and send me the sheet to look over. Also think of an idea for what you might have been arrested. If you need any help, I can help you. If you want to make your character sheet on roll20 I own almost all the 5e books.

What Jan brings to the table
I do enjoy making custom monsters and tactical encounters. I tend towards very clear campaign structures with a specific number of objectives.
Homebrew rules
I use crunchy crits (1 maxxed die + 1 rolled die). I also have a few homebrewed races, classes and subclasses if interested.
