About the adventure
This One-Shot is a fairly light hearted experience, though there are some moral questions you might find yourself thinking on. At the end of the day who doesn't want to help a small village break out and become a spot on the map? Fight to save towns folk, track creatures through mysterious woods, and decide the fate of the village! Some choices can be harder than you think.

About me
Hello, my name is Andrew. I am the DM and showrunner for The Dunderheads over on twitch and youtube. I have been DMing since 2016 and honestly can't get enough of it. I can do anything from a long form campaign with heavy story beats to oneshots where we all play little critters just trying to steal scraps from the dumpster out side of the local tavern.

Creating your character
Make a level 1 Daggerheart Character. If you're new to the game (aren't we all for now?) feel free to send me a message and I'll do my best to help you along. You can find the rules and a character builder here, for $35 https://app.demiplane.com/nexus/daggerheart/sources/core If you're not interested in spending that kind of money on a new game system, I completely understand. Free rules and how to play can be found here. https://www.daggerheart.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/Quickstart-Adventure-5-20-2025.pdf

What Andrew Johnson brings to the table
I have been GMing for nearly a decade now. I have a pretty solidified style at this point. Generally I run very new player friendly games and am more than happy to help people that are just learning. If you're not quite sure what the best option is I will help you weigh them out in a way that doesn't take too much time from others. I enjoy players trying creative things within reason of course, and will bend some rules if it makes sense in the moment. I bring with me a few different services to bring the game to life. Hand drawn maps and tokens by Cze and Peku Music and ambiance by Dscryb Foundry VTT for measuring abilities, tracking initiative, rolling dice and more.
Homebrew rules
I use a loose initiative system. This is mainly for the sake of playing online where nonverbal cues for hoping in can get lost. This way we at least know who should be going next. of course If you're not ready there is no pressure we will simply move to the next person and you can hop in where is appropriate.

How Andrew Johnson creates a safe table
I will send a fillable form for lines and veils. Once I have gotten one from everyone I will send a collated list back out without player names attached so we're all on the same page before game day. If you have concerns that you feel need more attention feel free to contact me.
