About the adventure
Welcome to a great adventure designed for both new and veteran players. This is one of the highest rated D&D campaigns and one of my favorites to run. It is filled with interesting NPCs, tons of places to explore, and fantastic combat settings that make this such a memorable adventure. To "add" to this experience, this campaign will be customized to continue on into an additional campaign such as "Tyranny of Dragons", "Shattered Obelisk", "Curse of Strahd" etc based upon the groups decision. This basically blends two epic campaigns into one! This will allow you to have a customized experience to advance your character through much higher levels and experience the broader world of the Sword Coast. If you are new to D&D then please don't hesitate to join this game, and if you are a long time adventurer then I promise you will enjoy this campaign.

Creating your character
We will have a free session zero to give the group a chance to prepare for the campaign. Often players get ideas for their characters during this session, but you are welcome to come with a character already in mind. All published content is allowed for character creation with regard to race and class, and the group will decide if they prefer the 2014 or 2024 format.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Players should have a computer with decent connection and a mic they can use with Discord. Webcam can be optional if players wish to use video. You will also need an account on Roll20 and Discord. Chronica is also an option for the campaign if the party wishes to use it.
What Leoben brings to the table
I love to add as much as I can to make the experience as immersive and fun as possible. I have a pro subscription on Roll20 which allows me to use dynamic lighting, custom scripts, thematic music and sounds, macros, and share my extensive purchased resources with players. I also make and add my own custom tokens, maps, and additional content to further enhance the game. I have also started using Chronica, which is like a "wiki page" where players can track everything related to the campaign. This helps everyone track the whole experience and have a quick resource to use to access information from their sessions, and is available if the party likes it and wants to use it.
Homebrew rules
I go over all homebrew rules in our Session Zero and allow the group to decide which ones they want to keep and which to discard.
