About the adventure
News reports have went off country wide as people have started to get sick. Deathly sick. The CDC has dubbed the Illness Gray Flu, due to the skin pigmentation your body takes after the first few hours of contracting it. Along with the rise of illness came along the alarm increase of murder cases involving cannibalism. You've shrugged it off as yet another historical event we have to live through and it will all be blown over within a months time. But whos to say for sure? The last thing heard on national television before the outages was the news anchor giving his final announcement to you all. "When there is no more room in hell...The Dead will walk the earth" This game is a modern zombie apocalypse setting. We're talking Z-Nation, Walking Dead, Dawn of the Dead, Resident Evil. Traditional zombies and the trials that come with them. Think you got a zombie survival plan and skill to make it and thrive in this new world order? Find out as the game will start in the first week of the outbreak. Weather your character survivors and finds safety in the world will be entirely based on you and the parties choices, as Cogent is a role play first type of game.

About me
Greetings Travelers! We're Ark and Bailey, a married couple that has been experimenting with a new style of DMing that involves TWO DMs We're new player friendly and welcome all types of players to our table, and LGBTQ+ Friendly. So no matter what kind of player or person you are you'll be welcomed at the table. Ark personally has 14+ years of experience running Dungeons and Dragons Games since around the time of 3.5e while the wife Bailey has experience with the 5e version of the game. We each have experience with a multitude of different genres and settings in game. Ark is a more of a laid back and chill personality that plays any and all kind of games, TTRPGs Video Games, Board games. If you name it he has probably played it. Bailey is the more energetic of the two, bubbly and excited to play and created a story with you, as well as being a digital artist for 13 years and around 10 years of creative writing.

Characters will be made during session 0 for character creation. We will discuss a number of topics during so which the check list will be gone over during that time.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Have a working microphone so you are easily understood with little to no background noise. (Don't show up on your phone please.) A discord account to join the server and converse with fellow players in and out of game. A webcam to help roleplay with describing physical actions with re-enactment (Optional) That's it!

How Ark and Bailey creates a safe table
Session 0 is MANDATORY This is a character first story with an overarching plot looming over your heads X, N, and O's are aggressively encouraged. The comfort of each player is TOP PRIORITY. If one person isn't haven't fun then the whole table isn't. Players have the option to use the webcam if they want but will not be forced too if it makes them uncomfortable.
