About the adventure
A century has passed since the God-King Othedias betrayed the Pantheon, provoking divine punishment and abandonment by the gods that left the realm of the Halcyon Domain shattered, desolate, and eternally cursed. Throughout this shadow-choked land of decaying fortresses and dreadful monstrosities, surviving communities cling to hope in the face of lightless oblivion. In an Age of Umbra campaign, you’ll play heroic survivors who protect their community from the terrors beyond their walls, venture out into the unknown to hunt the nightmares that twist and grow with each fallen soul, seek answers to the curses that corrupt this world, and perhaps even discover a way to change its fate.

Geoff is hands down one of the best Dungeon Masters I've had the pleasure of gaming with. He's not just good; he's fantastic. One of his greatest strengths is his ability to roll with curveballs we throw his way. Whether we're trying to negotiate with a monster, seduce an NPC, or convince a group of bandits to join our cause, Geoff is always ready with a creativity that keeps the game flowing and the laughs coming. His voices, acting, and VTT work is wonderful. I swear, sometimes I forget I'm not talking to a goblin or town mayor. Plus, his commitment to running combat encounters with real stakes? It's like being in the middle of an action-packed fantasy movie. You can bet your bottom gold piece that every decision matters and every roll of the dice is important. I've been playing with Geoff for a while, and have noticed a few comments that seem completely off base from my experience with him. I have not seen any tendency to railroad or force us into doing anything and instead, I'm having an amazing time exploring the setting and world! As far as resource constraints (as I saw in one post) Well, ok, he doesn't run a Monty Haul campaign, but I've never wanted for anything on my character and any "resource" that we need has been available. -Geoff encourages player creativity like nobody's business -His voices? Creating your character
Player will need to create an account on Demiplane if they do not already have one. Core rules will be shared through Demiplane. Character creation will take place during session 0 were we will go over how to create your character, and how they are tied to the world. FREE Session 0
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Players will need to make sure they have: A microphone Discord account An internet browser compatible with Foundry VTT Webcams are not required but are encouraged Game will be played using Discord for voice and Foundry VTT for visuals. Players DO NOT need to purchase or create an account with Foundry VTT.
What Geoff brings to the table
I will provide Foundry VTT and high quality maps, artwork, and tokens, along with ambient sounds and music for an interactive and immersive experience. I will also bring core rules using Demiplane.

How Geoff creates a safe table
During Session 0 we will go over the content, settings and themes of the campaign and discuss any potential themes or content that might be a problem. Players will be asked to fill out an RPG Consent Form that I will use to tailor the adventure to each players comfort levels.
