About the adventure
Welcome to Brindlewood Bay – a sleepy seaside town where the tea is hot, the gossip is hotter, and the Murder Mavens are always ready to stir the pot... especially when someone ends up dead. In this one-shot cozy mystery RPG, you’ll play as a sharp-witted retiree with a passion for amateur sleuthing—and maybe a secret scone recipe or two. Inspired by Murder, She Wrote, The Golden Girls, and The Great British Baking Show, this mystery takes place at Brindlewood Bay’s beloved annual baking competition. But when one someone turns up dead, it’s up to your knitting circle of curious grandmas to uncover the truth (and maybe snag a few cake tips along the way). This game is rules-light and roleplay-rich—perfect for first-timers or experienced players looking for something playful and charming. Expect suspicious suspects, dramatic desserts, and a collaborative mystery full of laughter and lighthearted intrigue. If you love cozy crime dramas, baking puns, and putting the “sharp” in “sharp-tongued retiree,” then tie on your apron and grab your magnifying glass—it’s time to sleuth.

About me
I am a lifelong storyteller, certified play practitioner, and a GM who specializes in roleplaying-focused games. But don't worry, you don't have to be good at voices to roleplay! You just have to engage with the world we create together. My absolute favorite thing in the world is creating a space where players can truly lose themselves in a story, punctuated by meaningful combat to keep you on your toes. ✨ What to Expect at My Table✨ 🎭 Roleplaying Focus: Come ready to inhabit your character! We dive deep into the story, relationships, and lore. 😹 Laughter & Joy: While we love deep storytelling, we have an incredible amount of fun doing it. I frequently hear my players say, "My face hurts from laughing this much!" 🤗 Welcoming New Players: If you're relatively new to the hobby but eager to learn and grow your roleplaying skills, you are incredibly welcome here. 🏳️🌈 A Safe & Inclusive Space: My table is fiercely 🏳️⚧️🏳️🌈 supportive, inclusive, and designed to be an easy environment to settle into. My GM style is shaped by learning from and playing alongside some of the absolute best in the industry, including B. Dave Walters (Stranger Things), Jason Carl (LA by Night), Monte Cook (D&D 3.5), Beth the Bard, and Kelly Lynne D’Angelo. Within the Dungeons & Dragons universe, I primarily run games set in the eerie gothic horror of the Domains of Dread and the whimsical, wild magic of the Domains of Delight. Ready to step into the story? Grab a seat at my table and let's create something memorable!
