About the adventure
Curse of Strahd is a 5th edition D&D adaption of the award-winning 1983 Ravenloft module for AD&D, written by Tracy and Laura Hickman. In the years since, the original has gained a reputation as one of the greatest Dungeons & Dragons adventures ever. Curse of Strahd uses recurring elements inspired by classic horror literature and gothic fairy tales. The players find themselves drawn into the cursed land of Count Strahd von Zarovich, a terrifying predator hidden behind a romantic, noble veil. Once there, they must contend with the horrors of Barovia – misty forests full of wolves and witches; haunted manors and abandoned castles; grotesque monsters in the shadows; and other creatures that serve Strahd’s evil will.

Meet the Game Master
About me
Hello adventurers, my name's Goobee and it's a pleasure to make your acquaintance! I've been a Dungeon Master for D&D 5E for the past 3 years, I play multiple types per week for a whole lot of friends. I love D&D and I would play every day all day if I could. I am very passionate about the game and all my players have had a great time, also never had a failed adventure or anyone leave. I DM for official modules from Wizards of the Coast: Curse of Strahd, out of the abyss, The Wild Beyond the Witchlight, And I also have my own home-brewed setting, where adventurers can explore it in a good old-fashioned open world sandbox game that is based on character motivation and backstory. I can also pick up other books if a group requests them, but will need some time to prepare. I hope you consider me to be your Dungeon Master on your next epic adventure!

Creating your character
characters will start at level 1, and you will be making your characters individually, starting as soon as you reserve your seat at the table, this will give us a long extended period of time to work on your backstory and detail certain elements of your character. At session zero the players will get to meet each other's character & talk about each other a little bit.
