About the adventure
A terrible virus has spread across the lands of Saryl. Those that are stricken begin to petrify, their body slowly corroding into dust the further it spreads. And those are the lucky ones. For those that are less lucky, they find themselves changed, twisted and corrupted. They become beasts, monstrosities, creatures of nothing but hunger and blood. No one quite knows how the disease is spreading, but everyone believes it originates from far down below, in the depths of the void sea. There are many who would fight against these transformed creatures, but most perish under their claws. Those that survive do terrible things to live to see another day. They ingest the blood of their prey, gaining from it tremendous strength and vitality. But it is a death sentence. There are only two roads for a hunter. Madness. Or Death. ❣️ Become a Hunter. Gain strange powers from your foes ❣️ Fight against despair by any means necessary ❣️ Create hope or die trying ❣️ Enjoy a fully fleshed out world with lore, legends, ancestries and more. ❣️ Enjoy a campaign that weaves your backstory into the action ❣️ And More!

About me
Hello, my name is Pixels and I'm thrilled to provide a wonderful gaming experience for you. I've been gm-ing for nearly a decade, and am versed in a number of systems including Dungeons and Dragons 5th edition, Pathfinder 1st and 2nd editions, Starfinder 1st edition, Open Legend, Call of Cthulhu, Monster of the Week and Shadowrun. I tend to be a Rule of Cool gm, using Rules as Written as a base to allow for player creativity and problem solving. Not everything is allowed, but there's often a way to bend a rule to make for an amazing outcome. I look forward to telling a story with you!
View Profile →Character creation
Creating your character
Character creation will happen during session 0. Stats are determined via a set array, 18-16-14-12-12-10. Your characters will be level 3. You can use any wotc book and there are several third party supplements that are pre-approved for player use. If you'd like to use homebrew please pass it by me first.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
You will need a mic, a discord account, and a roll20 account. Reading the rules ahead of time is requested but not necessary.
What 8bitpixelheart brings to the table
I will bring my compendium on roll20, as well as several other third party sources listed on my discord. I also use maps from patreon as well as maps that I make myself in dungeonscrawl and dungeondraft. I tend towards intense combat, especially in this campaign, with rules as written being my focus. I do my best to do character voices, and I do utilize ambient music.
