About the adventure
Whether you're a veteran storyteller, an aspiring tactician, or someone brand new to the game. As a paid game, it also includes exclusive perks like detailed backstory integration, high-quality maps and visuals, custom player handouts, and a deeply personalized narrative experience. If you’d like to know more about what your session fee covers, feel free to ask. The campaign could take place in Turea, a richly developed homebrew setting shaped by mortal defiance, elemental balance, and cosmic mystery. Turea is a world forged to embody harmony but born into conflict. From frost-covered wastelands to dream-laced swamps, sunken dwarven fortresses to city-ships of the Mau, your group will have the freedom to choose where your story begins and what direction it takes. It could even go beyond to the other Spheres or the Astral Sea known in my game as the “Sea of Remembrance.” The starting location and themes of the campaign will be finalized during Session 0, allowing the tone, scope, and story arcs to be tailored specifically to the group’s collective vision. Whether you want to dive into courtly intrigue, abyssal horror, elemental survival, or cross-planar mystery, this world is built to adapt and expand alongside your characters. My goal is to offer a bespoke campaign experience where your choices truly matter — and where one group’s story might eventually intersect with another’s. The world of Turea is shared across multiple ongoing campaigns, and events in one may influence the others. With your creativity and collaboration, we’ll continue shaping this ever-evolving world together. ________________________________________ Game Style Roleplay Heavy This is a “Roleplay Heavy” game where the focus is on story, character development, and meaningful interactions. Expect deep conversations with NPCs, tough moral decisions, and the kind of personal storytelling that sticks with you between sessions. There will be moments of levity and epic action, but the real heart of this campaign lies in character choices, emotional arcs, and the bonds you form — both in and out of combat. You’ll be encouraged to explore your character’s flaws and growth, uncover secrets from the world’s past, and help shape the narrative with your actions. Whether it’s quiet campfire scenes, tense political negotiations, or haunting dreamwalks into Phantase — your character’s journey is the story.

About me
Hello, I’m Bryce—A EST timer, a 34-year-old father of two, born with Cerebral Palsy and your future Dungeon Master! My voice may be different, but that only fuels my creativity. I turn challenges into strengths, using immersive visuals, atmospheric soundscapes, and adaptive storytelling techniques to run unforgettable D&D campaigns. With over six years of experience guiding players through rich, evolving 5e adventures, I bring a deeply personal and inclusive perspective to the table.

What Bryce Clemens brings to the table
I'll supply all of the lore, maps, music, ambiance. I just want to tell the best story possible whatever that may mean for us. I'm cool about most things as long as you can back it up in theworld.
Homebrew rules
Flexible Skill Checks- Players can use alternative ability scores for skill checks if they provide a reasonable explanation. (Example: Using Strength instead of Charisma for an Intimidation check by physically asserting dominance.) Resurrection is Uncertain- Death severs the bond between spirit and body, and resurrection is never guaranteed. Restoring life requires a DC 10 spellcasting ability check from the caster. Other characters can assist through a ritual, making skill checks based on their aid method—success lowers the DC, while failure raises it. If the caster’s final check fails, the soul is lost. A character can only be resurrected three times before they are beyond reach. Initiative Adjustments- Players and monsters with an initiative roll one point higher or lower than an ally may swap places in the order. Groups of identical monsters share a single initiative roll. Long Rest Requirements- A long rest requires consuming at least one ration or preparing a cooked meal. Encumbrance Rule Weight -is only considered if carrying the item(s) would be implausible. In-Combat Communication- Players can only speak in character during their turn. Private Death Saves- The GM rolls all death saving throws in secret. Team Combos- Players can coordinate attacks or actions for combined effects—outcome is determined by the GM. Druid Wild Shapes Druids- begin knowing three animal forms they have studied. Additional forms must be learned through in-game experience. Luck Rolls- At the GM’s discretion, players may roll a flat d20 to determine their luck in a given situation. The GM can also introduce good/bad luck numbers to tilt the odds. (Example: Guards were en route while the rogue was picking a lock—did they arrive in time?) Wizard Spellbooks- Wizards must have their grimoire to cast spells. Cleave Rule- If a melee attack kills a target, and another enemy with an equal or lower AC is adjacent, excess damage carries over to that enemy. D&D Tavern & Inn Rest System This system encourages players to rest in inns and taverns by providing mechanical benefits such as temporary hit points and additional bonuses when purchasing meals. Lodging Tiers & Benefits Inn Quality Cost per Night Temporary HP Gained Cheap Room 5 gp THP equal to 1 Hit Die (roll your hit die) Comfortable Room 15 gp THP equal to 2 Hit Dice (roll 2 hit dice) Luxury Suite 20 gp THP equal to 2 Hit Dice + CON Modifier Meal Bonuses Meal Quality Cost Bonus Simple Meal 2 gp THP = Character Level + 2 Hearty Meal 5 gp THP = Character Level + 5 Exquisite Meal 10 gp THP = Character Level + 10 Critical Hits When you score a critical hit, you get to roll extra dice for the attack’s damage against the target. Roll all of the attack’s damage dice twice and add them together. Then add any relevant modifiers as normal. If the attack involves other damage dice, such as from the rogue’s Sneak Attack feature, you roll those dice twice as well. To speed up play, you can roll all the damage dice at once.
