About the adventure
In the undead nation of Geb, a motley band of troubleshooters see just how far they can rise up the ranks. Do you have what it takes to become a Blood Lord? This game is for all those who have either wanted to play an evil character or for those who want their moral compass to be quite gray. The premise of this adventure is that your party is called in to investigate the cause behind the missed shipments from a zombie-worked farm on the outskirts of Graydirge. All are welcome to join

About me
I enjoy teaching the game to new players and also love to see when players find creative solutions to encounters

Creating your character
I would hope everyone has an evil character idea they have been just dying to try out, but beyond that, creation will likely take up most of Session 0 (if the players do not talk amongst themselves in the discord prior to session 0) Using Pathbuilder the players will select the starting stats and feats, after which the character will be imported into Foundry. Once imported the players will purchase their starting gear and finish preparing for session 1.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
A computer that meets the basic requirements to run FoundryVTT (https://foundryvtt.com/article/requirements/) A discord account, with working microphone A forgevtt account (this is what I host Foundry through)
What Matt brings to the table
I bring the Foundry VTT (hosted through Forge) as well as the official modules for the Blood Lords adventure. As such I have access to ambient music, sounds, and effect, and have taken the time to gather modules that allow all aspects of play to progress not only more quickly but also in an easier manner. I enjoy running sessions mostly rules as written, however the rule of cool is also regularly applied, so long as the actions make sense, so no setting fire to the snow or similar shenanigans. Roleplaying is something I do my utmost to cultivate.

How Matt creates a safe table
I intend to have a break approximately halfway through, though depending on circumstances additional breaks may be added. On top of having at least one planned break, should the players need it for any reason (overwhelmed, uncomfortable, need to get a drink) it is always possible to step away no matter the circumstances. Session 0 will be where players discuss what concepts/content is unacceptable for them and whether the group meshes together well. It will also be where character concepts are finalized and imported into the foundry server in preparation for session 1
