About the adventure
"A land of Myths and Legends, the Forgotten Realms is a place where dragons fly above the clouds, unknown dangers populate deep underground tunnels, and then, along the Sword Sea, South of Waterdeep and Baldur's Gate lies Athkatla, the City of Coins, Amn's capital. It is a place where everything has a price, and money is King. Merchants strive, slavery flourishes, and injustices happen every minutes of every day. As a traveler or one of its inhabitants, you found yourself victim of one of those injustices - or maybe it was deserved - and you ended up in prison. Will you rot there, or will you accept the offer that a mysterious person brought to you?" This is a Homebrew game that will bring you into the world of Faerun and its darkest path, made for characters from lvl 5 to lvl 15, it's a unique experience where you will fight against the tyranny of the few to save the many. Creating your character
Character creation will take place during Session 0, so that everyone can get a sense of what they want to play and share. I will expect players to give me a backstory for their characters - which can be created alongside fellow players or discussed with me if you need ideas. For the mechanical side: * We're playing with 2014 mainly, * I will only allow official material for Character Creation, * You start at lvl 5, * You get 1 uncommon items, * You can use point buy or roll thrice and take the best result. If you roll you can't take point buy again., * You all get one feat to start with.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
You'll absolutely need 3 things: * A Discord account * A Roll20 account * A Microphone with decent quality Optional: * A basic understanding of the rules * A character (Note they will be created during session 0 or in between session 0 and 1)

Homebrew rules
Potions: Common and uncommon potions can be consumed on a bonus action. Even if they're not healing potions. For healing potions it forces you to roll for the healing. Above that it takes an action., 2024: You can use the masteries from 2024., Healing spells will be replaced by their 2024 versions., Flanking If you position yourself on opposite sides of a creature, you get advantage on your attack roll.,
