About the adventure

❗CHRONICLE WILL NOT START UNTIL 2 or more PLAYERS ARE SIGNED UP❗ (and you will not be charged until our group meeting) 🏛️[Choose from a roster among various pre-made characters]🏛️ 💀[Story Setting]💀 -This is the "Last Night at Renauld's" story set in the city of Rabat, Morocco in the summer of 2024. 📚[Story]📚 "Last Dance at Renauld's" takes place on a moonlit night in a sprawling mansion just beyond the outskirts of Rabat, where the modern city fades into the vast Moroccan countryside. The estate, owned by the reclusive and enigmatic vampire Renauld, is known for its grandeur and opulent soirées, which draw Kindred from across North Africa and Europe. Tonight, however, the gathering has a darker purpose. Renauld has summoned prominent local figures and visiting vampires to discuss troubling rumours that take hold in the city. Guests are expected to mingle, unearth secrets, and form alliances in this tense social crucible, where veiled words carry as much weight as sharpened blades. Amidst the mansion's grand halls and secluded gardens, the players navigate a world of intrigue and deception, where rivalries simmer and hidden motives are cloaked in elegant conversation. As secrets are uncovered and tempers flare, the night threatens to spiral into chaos, leaving the Kindred to decide whether they will be predators or prey in this deadly masquerade.

About me

Hello adventurers and heroes, nice to meet you! I'm Babis, a game master from Greece, and I'm working for the last 15 years in the gaming industry as a board game designer/developer and an RPG game master and writer. I'm passionate with storytelling, and epic moments of tragedy and drama, but I do so love some hardcore moments of tireless dungeon-delving in some forgotten ruins. My favorite games are Dungeons & Dragons, Savage Worlds: Deadlands, and of course Vampire: the Masquerade - a personal favorite of mine. I've been playing RPGs for 30 years, and I've been storytelling for the last 20 of them. So let's play together! Let's tell some stories! And live on the moments you want to experience, tailored to your preferences and needs!

What to expect

Preparing for the session

All players need an Alchemy and a discord account for the game and, since we'll be playing online, a good enough mic is essential. This is a beginner friendly game, as such, any kind of explanation of the rules and guidance will be provided as the game paces on.

What Babis brings to the table

No need to bring anything else! (just your mic and camera) I have everything set up on Alchemy, along with the interactive materials needed.

Safety

How Babis creates a safe table

You're about to experience living in the grim setting of the World of Darkness -where the lines of morality blur, and human suffering runs amok. It's a Dostoyevski-an setting that exults the desperation of living in a gloomy, dark city. That being said, I will never bring you forth into a situation that makes you feel uncomfortable. As such, I implement the "lines and veils" system, that alongside an extensive talk and discussion, will give each other a concrete idea of what you want to avoid in the game. One thing that you won't find in the game is "player betrayal" and active PVP. Surely characters can keep secrets between them, but never to sabotage or outright ruin another player's roleplaying gameplay experience.
