About the adventure
You don't remember who came up with the dare, but it doesn't matter: you're not chickening out right before high school starts! Besides, it's not really haunted, is it? If you have what it takes to spend a night with your school friends at the abandoned Cranston House, now is your chance to prove it! Face the supernatural with an incredibly simple yet deep system that can get you playing within 15 minutes! And remember: ghosts aren't real ;)

About me
I've been GMing for 20 years in a multitude of different systems, including multiple editions of D&D, Fate, Pathfinder 2e, FFG Star Wars, World of Darkness and many more. I am especially fond of one-shots and pretty much open to doing every system at least once, although I also enjoy long-form slow-burn campaigns. I fall more on the storyteller side of things, although tactical combat and deep strategy are also things I enjoy, and I like to tailor every system to the group I'm playing with. I speak English, Spanish and Catalan, all at a native level of fluency. I will give you space to communicate and will get a quick pause in if I feel anyone is uncomfortable or simply not really enjoying the direction the game is taking: I believe talking things out is the best way to ensure we all have fun :) And lastly, I always make a point to be welcoming to new(er) players, so if you're just recently getting into the hobby, I'll try and give you the best introduction to it that I can! ========================================= Llevo 20 años mastereando partidas en muchos sistemas diferentes, incluyendo múltiples ediciones de D&D, Fate, Pathfinder 2e, FFG Star Wars, Mundo Tinieblas y muchos más. Soy más del lado de la narrativa, aunque también disfruto el combate táctico y la estrategia profunda y me gusta afinar cada sistema para que se adapte lo mejor posible al grupo con el que juego. Hablo Español, Catalán e Inglés, todos a un nivel nativo. Te daré espacio para que te comuniques y no dudaré en hacer una pausa rápida si veo que alguien está incómodo o simplemente no lo está pasando bien con la dirección que ha tomado la partida: creo que hablar las cosas es la mejor manera de asegurar que todos pasamos un buen rato :) Finalmente, siempre me aseguro de tener en cuenta a los jugadores más noveles, así que si está empezando con este hobby intentaré por todos los medios darte la mejor introducción posible!

Character creation will take place within the first 15 minutes of play! There are premade characters available for you to complete to match your vibe!
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Players should have a microphone and ideally headphones (or at least some mechanism to avoid background noise intruding in the session). Players may optionally have a webcam, but it is in no way required. They must also have a web browser ready that can use FoundryVTT as well as a Discord account which will be the main means of communication. Other than that, players must be ready to spend the night at the Cranston House!
What Kenan brings to the table
I will have all the necessary assets on FoundryVTT and Discord for the game, so we can all focus on enjoying the story we build together. We will have ambient music and I'll try to make the world as alive as possible, through voices, pacing, narrative beats and descriptions!

How Kenan creates a safe table
As this is a One-shot, any player may take a break or even leave at any time if they're feeling uncomfortable. Additionally we will use the X, N & O's system, so if at any point you feel things are getting to a place you don't like, just message a simple X or N over Discord and I will immediately change course. Finally, there will be a scheduled break about halfway in to have a moment to breathe and check in with everyone before the final scene in the session!
