About the adventure

The young empire of Taldor arose on the edges of the Verduran Forest, an ancient wilderness filled with towering trees, mystical creatures, and long-forgotten mysteries. As Taldor expanded, it came to see the forest not as a sacred barrier but as a valuable resource to be exploited. A cycle of conflict ensued over centuries, with Taldan settlers gradually encroaching on the Verduran’s borders, eroding its natural defenses and suppressing uprisings. Only after many long centuries did Taldor and the forest’s leading druids, known as the Wildwood Lodge, reach an uneasy peace. The Treaty of the Wildwood allowed controlled, sustainable logging in exchange for Taldor’s commitment to oversee, protect, and conserve what remained of the forest. Despite the treaty, resentment simmers among most forest inhabitants. Now, as the forest-dwellers prepare for the annual Greenwood Gala they also gather to elect Lodge leaders and renew the treaty. There lies a fragile chance to settle old scores peacefully, but also carries the risk of igniting a new, devastating conflict. Things to note: We will use Free Archetype, alternate crafting rules and monster harvesting will be available as options. Any common or uncommon ancestry is available with Rare needing approval. Battlezoo ancestries from the Monster (Classic Creature) and Legend lines are available to be picked with a final approval as well.

About me

Welcome! I have been playing TTRPGs for about 11 years, starting with 3.5 DnD/Pf1e. I've been GMing either Westmarches or regular campaigns for about 9 years and would love for you to join me in telling and creating new stories together! I run my own homebrew game to stretch my creative limits with my worldbuilding so that I can be an even better GM for premade games to adapt and expand for players no matter what they want to do. I love to use extra subsystems if people are interested and try to give as much player agency as I can as it is through group play that we get the best stories.

Character creation

Creating your character

Characters begin at level 5 and go to level 14. Come prepared with at least 1 concept, full build is fine but be open to changes as we will have a session 0 to nail down the party. Ancestries and Heritages are open for common and uncommon, Rare needs approval. Battlezoo options are available for the Monster (classic creature) and Legends lines but also require approval. Come up with 3 bonds that could be used in the game. Items, NPCs, previous actions or events to give your character depth.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

Mic is required as well as Discord as we will use it for audio. Come with character concepts at minimum.
