About the adventure

The Death Star has been destroyed in the first great Rebel victory of the Galactic Civil War, but that's just made the Empire more desperate to enforce their control, even in Hutt Space, where their authority has always been questionable. In response, alliances are shifting across the sector, and these shifts offer opportunity--including for a scrappy new crew of smugglers, bounty hunters, or Rebel operatives like you.

About me

With 19 years of GMing experience, I run player character-driven games where PC decisions can determine the entire course of campaigns--with ripple effects that sometimes even I can't anticipate (which is when I get most excited.) I specialize in historical games, with deep research into the era and an eye for accuracy. I don't run games on rails. I create settings interwoven with PC backstories and populated by NPC's who each have their own nuanced motivations, perspectives, limited information, and schemes, which are all dynamically influenced by the actions of both the PC's and each other, which can make things delightfully unpredictable as EVERYONE is forced to improvise. I especially love intrigue, horror, and involved roleplaying, but also snappy dialogue, the nitty gritty of tactical maneuvering, and character creation.

Creating your character

Character creation will occur during session 0 using the standard Scum and Villainy rules, but using setting-specific playbooks which will be provided as PDFs.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

Players will need a Discord account, microphone, and ideally a webcam. Knowledge of the rules is always encouraged, but not required.

What Shepherd brings to the table

I will provide a dedicated Discord and access to relevant materials such as the fan-made supplements adapting S&V to Hutt Space.

Homebrew rules

We will be using the fan-made Hutt Space full conversion for Scum and Villainy.
