About the adventure
Welcome to Night City, 2045. The neon glows bright, but the shadows run deeper than ever. Twenty-two years after a nuclear blast cratered the City Center, the skyline is a jagged silhouette of twisted metal and broken dreams. Rebuilding efforts turn to warzones in a flash as hopeless squatters are mercilessly evicted and the corps siphon what profits they can and leave the rest to scrap. What once was the City of Dreams is now every punk for themselves. The streets are ruled by warlords in chrome, radicals high on synth and sin, and corpos who buy loyalty like they buy lives—cheap and disposable. Law enforcement is just another gang with better funding, and the only rule that matters is: Might makes right. You are an Edgerunner—a hustler, a merc, a cyber-slinger on the bleeding edge. You live by your wits, your chrome, and your crew. You sell your skills to whoever’s got the eddies, because in this city, survival is the gig. Forget the dream of becoming a legend wrapped in glitter and braindance fame—Night City eats legends for breakfast. But carve your name deep enough into its bones, and maybe, just maybe, it won’t forget you.

About me
Welcome to Night City, choomba! I've been living and breathing Cyberpunk for years—running a long-term Cyberpunk RED campaign with six dedicated players for the past four. From the pages of the TTRPG rulebooks to the neon-soaked streets of Cyberpunk 2077, I’ve devoured it all—and I’m here to bring that world to life for you. What sets my tables apart? I build cinematic moments, player-driven stories, and rule-of-cool gameplay that makes you feel like a legend. If you come up with something wild and stylish, my answer is “Yes, and…”—because in my games, creativity and flair take center stage. Whether you're a streetrat looking to make a name or a corpo out to burn the system down, I’ll help you make your mark on Night City.

Creating your character
I have many Pregen Characters ready to grab and play, so if you're feeling wary of building a new character from the ground up, I've got you covered! That said, making your own unique character is absolutely recommended, and we will be spending "Session 0" making Custom Characters for all who wish. I'll walk you through the entire process from start to finish, and allow for 1 Mulligan on Stats/Skills after a session or two. This is because, especially for new players, when you're first making a character you really don't know how things are going to shake out. After a few sessions you'll often realize "Oh, well that was pointless. I should have done..." When/If you have that realization, it's Mulligan time! Just remember, you only get one. "Session 0" for Character Creation is a Free Session.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Links to join the game will be provides to all players. It can be opened in any web browser! Enabling "Hardware Acceleration" is 100% recommended to have best results, as I've found with other players that they have a tremendous amount of latency without this enabled. Character Sheets and Dice Rolling are contained within the game. You'll just need to bring yourself and a microphone! Webcams Optional. Communication will be done on Discord, so you will need an account there.
What GM Sanno brings to the table
I've spent the last 4 years building on Foundry VTT with tons of fully fleshed out Maps, hundred of Tokens, Immersive Ambience, Animated Combat, Automatic Range Calculations, dozens of Integrated Roll Tables, and every R. Talsorian Games DLC, many recreated by hand. Having GM'd a campaign that has been ongoing for the last 5 years, I feel comfortable with the Rules and World, with a tremendous amount of accrued resources, visual aids, and immersion adding audio and visual effects. You can expect me to always be ready and cordial, friendly and patient, prepared and energized for our sessions together!
Homebrew rules
I use one Homebrew Rule to work out Lucky Moments. At times times I will ask players to roll 1d10 and roll UNDER their Luck Score. If so, they catch a lucky break, and if not well... it's just not your day, choom. "You've got to ask yourself one question. Do you feel lucky? Well? Do ya, punk?" A few small tweaks to Core Rules; for example adding +1 to Personal Grooming for 4 hours after using a Personal Carepak, which by standard has no effect. Also using Cyberware like Talon Foot (which usually only does 1d6 Damage) on a Martial Artist with something like Flying Kick or other foot strike adds +1 Damage. Same thing with Big Knucks which only does 2d6 damage. This makes having that kind of gear actually worth while, where by standard ruling it is too weak to bother using with high enough Body, which does 3d6 or more damage.

How GM Sanno creates a safe table
Amidst the ugliness of Night City in 2045, Players are bound to experience some dark realities of desperate times and desperate people. There is really no getting around this in the setting of Cyberpunk, so if guns, gore, sin, and crime aren't subject you'd like to explore, I definitely recommend playing another game. That said, there will be Breaks after intense scenes to decompress and talk though the experience. I also keep an Open Door policy, where if things get too crazy for you, you are absolutely able and encouraged to step away without judgement or negative consequence. After every session there will be time to debrief and discuss likes, dislikes, and direction. I must say I am a more sensitive soul myself, so the ugliest and most vile of human activities will be avoided as subject matter, or touched on in such a way as to not emphasize their horrors. Players are also encouraged to DM me privately through our Discord with subjects that are absolute Red Flags/No-Go's for them ahead of or after any session. If something new comes up that you didn't think of, and don't want to see it again in future sessions, by all means speak up! I am happy and willing to accommodate sensitivities to the more graphic and atrocious subjects that may come up in a post-apocalyptic hellhole like Night City.
