About the adventure
"My husband is nothing if not...paranoid. He gets it from our father...these heroes of prophecy are nothing more than insects, ready for us to crush..." For five hundred years, the Oath of Peace has kept the Titans at bay... For five hundred years, they have waited for their revenge... For five hundred years, the gods have ruled... Now, the Oath is coming to an end. Storms rage along the coast, innocents wake maddened by the nightmares of what is to come, and the winds whisper of a prophecy...one of heroes, of battles, of doom, and of hope. Of Dragonlords. Odyssey of the Dragonlords is an epic campaign inspired by the Greek Myths, with an injection of classic D&D fun! Players take on the role of the "Heroes of Prophecy" - where they set out on legendary quests, cross wits with the gods, battle epic monsters, and forge their own legacy. This is a full campaign designed to carry players from Level 1 to all the way to Level 15. What You Can Expect: ⚔️Mythic battles against creatures of legend 🧩 Intricate political intrigue, exploration, and mysteries 🎭 Deep character arcs with the unique "Epic Path" system that intertwines with the story 🎲 A focus on collaborative storytelling, roleplay and character development 🌟 A welcoming, inclusive table for all players no matter their experience level!

About me
Hi! Im Jack. I'm a professional actor with hundreds of hours of experience as a Dungeon Master. My love of stories and storytelling began before I can even remember, and that love has found its place in TTRPGs (specifically 5e)! My games tend to strike a balance between Role Play and Adventure, with focus always being on the choices the players make, the world evolving around how they interact with it. I love telling long form stories with a group of players, but am always flexible with the feel of the "Arcs"...sure, maybe you begin in a tavern, and save a town from a goblin hoard - but the week after, maybe you're helping stop a league of assassins from killing a lord? Or maybe help assassinate him! Maybe it's time to face that Red Dragon, in his volcanic lair?! Who knows. The choice will, ultimately, be yours.

Creating your character
Characters will begin at level 1 and proceed much further. Stats will be rolled in the standard 2d6 minus the lowest number format. Pre made characters can be provided upon request. (If you have a character already made you would like to play, this is also fine, once I've checked it over) I am a Role Play heavy GM, so a love of backstory will always go down well with me! When a ticket has been purchased, you will be sent a link to a Discord Server and a Roll20 game, where we can make your character and work to incorporate the Epic Path system for this adventure into your characters backstory!
What to expect
Preparing for the session
A Discord account for Audio and Camera, while Roll20 will be used for music and Gameplay. A webcam (if desired) and working microphone, and headphones to prevent feedback. A familiarity with Roll 20 mechanics would be ideal. An understanding of at least the basic rules of D&D 5e (2014). See link below: https://dnd.wizards.com/articles/features/basicrules
What Jack "That Bald Gm" Simpson brings to the table
I bring years of professional improv, voice acting and acting experience. This, combined with a belief of clear story telling, will create an immersive world that focusses on character interplay as much as it does combat and strategy!
Homebrew rules
Drinking a potion is a bonus action, giving one to a friend is an action! Drinking a potion of healing out of combat heals the potions MAX. Forced movement triggers attacks of opportunity (eg - Thunderwave the ogre away from the paladin and give your paladin the chance to get an extra hit in...c-c-c-COMBO!!!!)
