About the adventure
Greetings adventurers! My name's Kyng, the architect of your future. Whether it be death, fame, riches, or danger, you may find all of these within the dungeon of madness ran by the Mad Mage himself. On your adventure, you'll explore, for whatever reasons, the depths of the Undermountain, starting at the Yawning Portal where wagers are made and ale is downed alongside a heaping helping of various tales. Who knows, you may very well be the future topic of these tales?! Dungeon of the Mad Mage is an Established Module where dungeon delving is the focus, so combat, intrigue, and impactful decision making is critical. Furthermore, the danger will be cranked to the maximum! So FEAR for your LIVES, this will not be for the feint of heart. Not only will you be using the new system of Dungeon & Dragons' 2024 Edition, but your starting stats will be based on the premise of a single 4d6 roll, drop the lowest six times per player, and what's majority agreed upon that'll be the universally applied to all characters. Currently, the currently rolled and agreed upon stats for characters are: 13 | 13 | 16 | 18 | 14 | 14 in any order! And if you join, you'll roll, and that may very well change these attributes! For further information regarding character creation, do DM me without hesitation, and I'll reply! That said, you'll be starting off as Level 5, with at least these attributes, signifying that your character is the potential candidate for Master of the Realm! As such, your adventure will be tailored to reflect your potential, and so will the potential rewards! Time of Session: 8AM PST \ 4PM PST. Length of Session: 3-4 Hours, with a 15 Minute Meal/Bathroom Break!

About me
Hello, fellow traveler of the myriad realms! I'm Kyng, hopefully your future Dungeon Master. I began my journey as a player just a little over two years ago, and I have found a great passion in Dungeons and Dragons, to the point where I studied, practiced under experienced Dungeon Masters with over twenty years of experience in the field, all so that I may bring the best experience to my players after tasting the life of one. I'm only familiar with 5e and 2024e, but I've gained insights into older additions for various potential homebrew options and creative expansions of lore. And I'm also willing to learn more. For me, being a Dungeon Master is being a weaver of stories, and I love stories, both bringing them to life and blessing others with the ability to experience a breathtaking adventure. Here’s what you can expect when you join one of my tables: -Tailored Adventures: Your play style sets the tone. Love epic battles? Prepare for heart-pounding combat. Adore intricate mysteries? Puzzles and intrigue await. Crave deep character development? Watch your backstory become the backbone of our campaign. -Inclusive World-Building: I strive to create inclusive environments that welcome and celebrate diversity, both in characters and players new and veteran alike. Everyone has a place at my table. -Interactive Sessions: Expect sessions where your choices truly matter. I use dynamic storytelling techniques to make the world react to your decisions, creating a living story where everyone contributes to the narrative’s unfolding. -Community and Connection: I believe in building not just a campaign, but a community. Our adventures are spaces where friendships are forged in the fires of dragon's breath and the quiet moments between battles.

Creating your character
We will handle character creation early, and it'll be established on D&DBeyond for sheets, using Beyond20 for rolls. There's nothing explicitly forbidden within the campaign, but if something problematic arises, I reserve the right to alter specific things, perhaps even nerfing or buffing various abilities to align them with the system.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
A mic is the only thing needed. Download Beyond20 Browser Extension and have a D&DBeyond Account. If you do not, but wish to participate, you can make a character on Roll20, and we'll see what we can do.
What DM Kyng brings to the table
We'll be using Roll20, but I'll certainly be bringing my best foot forward to establish intense combat and generates unforgettable moments with the Rule of Cool while not going too overboard, keeping many things in line with the expected Rules as Written.

How DM Kyng creates a safe table
Session 0 will go over what to expect and the various limitations that will be imposed to the game going forward. That'll be decided by the players, and it'll always--ALWAYS be open for change or alterations if it induces problematic themes or issues.
