About the adventure

The picturesque resort-town of Blueflag City hangs in the balance as new criminal elements both Mundane and super bloom in the cities dark corners. Can a new band of heroes rise to face these threats and save their city from chaos? Blueflag city Adventures is a M&M 3e campaign based around a team or loose alliance of heroes protecting the contemporary east-coast Georgian city known as "Blueflag city" from a revolving cast of criminals and supervillains in a "villain of the week" style of adventures in the theme of a superhero comic. (Because of this villain of the week style some content warning might not apply to every episode but any possibly extra tags will be discussed before the each session if required) I like to run games usually with a balance of roleplay and combat although can shift more emphasis to one or the other as needed

Character creation

Creating your character

Player characters will be power level 10, starting with 150 power points to begin with, characters will be made during the session zero and typed onto the foundry hosted game directly. although for anyone joining the game after that I will give time before their first session to help them create their character. I recommend having access to the contents of the "Heroes Handbook" for M&M 3e, however, access to a shared one can be provided for play otherwise.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

Players will need a discord account and a working mic (Microphone exception can be made if a player would prefer to type). The game will be hosted with Foundry VTT so stable access to the internet is recommended. Players are recommended to have access to the heroes handbook although access can be given to a shared copy if required.

What Mason.B brings to the table

The game will include custom-made maps and images for tokens, as well as both ambient and combat music. I usually make use of character voices although are by no means a professional voice actor. As a Gm I usually stick to rules as written but have been known to make exception for cool moments in game.

Safety

How Mason.B creates a safe table

each session will usually include a 5-10 minute break in the middle for use however the player needs. Session zero will be used for introductions for players and character creation as well as overview of the game and what to expect. At the end of each session players are encouraged to talk about the session and I as a GM am open to constructive notes and feedback on the game.
