About me

Greetings adventurers! I'm just a guy who loves telling stories and rolling math rocks. I've been writing stories since I was a kid and have always been something of a daydreamer. I get lost in the worlds I make in my head and am excited to share them with all of you. I've been playing Dungeons & Dragons since 2019 and have been DMing since 2020 and it's one of my favorite things. I'm originally from the US but am currently in Norway for school. I also speak Spanish, but all my games will be run in English. My educational background is a mixture of creative writing and history, both of which I use when drafting my homebrew content. I know how to craft a story from start to finish and make NPCs interesting and complex. I'm also really passionate about music and I always go out of my way to make sure I've got the right playlist for every session. My official website is coming soon but follow my Instagram for regular updates on available games and to follow the adventures of my tavern dwelling frog!

Character creation

Creating your character

We'll start this adventure at level 3 and use Rolled or Point Buy for stats. Have your character ready to go before the session. Roll20 game link will be included with booking details. I use the DnD 5e 2014 rules.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

Have your camera and mic ready. You'll need Roll20 and Discord accounts. Discord will be for sound while video will be on Roll20.

What The Tadpole Tavern brings to the table

Offering dynamic maps on the VTT Roll20. I utilize a wide variety of voices and accents and use the Pocket Bard app for music and sound effects. Even though this is a one-shot, I like to add little hints of the greater lore and history of the world around you. This is a self contained story, but it will like it could lead to something more.

Homebrew rules

When a roll ties with AC, it goes to the defender. Drinking health potions is a bonus action. Other potions is an action. No action necessary when switching from a ranged to a melee weapon.
