Trinity Continuum | Campaign
About the adventure
You are Nova!Force (Trademarked). America's first superteam. Fawned over by politicians, sanctioned by the Department of Justice, and paid for by a bloated defence budget. Celebrity-heroes with agents and an open spot on any late night show you want. They came to you just hours after you gained your powers offering you fame and wealth and a job. To be a superhero. To be America's hero. To protect the the US from threats both foreign and domestic. To protect America from itself. This is a campaign that begins with the American Dream TM before diving into the blood and bodies that lie is built on. One part federal agents, one part rescue technicians, and one part boy band. Superheroes forged by market testing and governmental agendas. Baptised in quantum fires, reborn as incarnate gods, drunk with fame, and sacrificed on the altar of power. What will you do? What world will you make? In this campaign, players can expect to: - Fight villains from organized criminals to Elite mercenaries to Nova Supremacists - Rescue innocents from villains and disasters - Navigate the pitfalls of sudden celebrity and wealth - Be asked what will they do with the power of a god
Game style
Rule of Cool (RoC)
“Rule of Cool” emphasizes creative story beats over sticking to a system’s rules as written. Players have the ability to push the limits of the rules or even break core rule mechanics at times if the Game Master thinks it is interesting, fun, or cool enough.
Theater of the Mind
“Theater of the Mind” uses little to no visuals for scene settings and combat. Instead, the narrative imagery comes from the Game Master’s descriptions and character action and movement comes from Players’ descriptions.
Roleplay Heavy
“Roleplay Heavy” games place the focus on the story, the characters, and the world they live within, and tend to lean hard into the various roleplaying elements of the game. These games will frequently find the party talking with NPCs, exploring the personal elements of their backstories, or even having emotional moments around the camp fire.
Note that Session 0 is always free.

How to prepare
All you will need is a mic and a Discord account. You will be using your browser to access the game which will be hosted on Roll20.
What I provide
I am a Rule of Cool GM with a lot of experience rolling with the punches. I will be using ambient music and scene specific scores. Expect combat to be tactical but easily accessible. Combat should be a challenge and not an exercise in frustration. You can expect a lot of roleplay as I am a story heavy GM. I am also a big fan of mysteries and investigations and political intrigue and conspiracies.
Gameplay details
In Session 0 we will go over player and GM expectations. Session 0 will be free. Lines and Veils will be a Google doc linked to you. Same for Stars and Wishes. The first before campaign begins. The second after each session. Breaks and X cards will be handled in game or over direct message on Discord if you are uncomfortable doing so publicly.
