About the adventure
Hail, one and all! Have you ever considered playing Dungeons & Dragons? Have you already dipped your toes into the waters of TTRPGs? All are welcome in this game, but there will be a focus on new/inexperienced players - Bring ALL the questions, and I will be more than happy to educate and teach you! This is a fairly standard beginners adventure - A little mystery, a little combat, a little role play, and a lot of fun! (This one-shot will also include a 20 minute 1 on 1 character creation session for each player, prior to the game start date.)

How to prepare
A headset will be required for audio communication. A webcam is helpful, but not a requirement. A free account on Roll20, D&D Beyond, and a discord account are all required as well.
What I provide
I have access to plenty of content on D&D Beyond, which is where characters will be created, stored, and viewed. I will also utilize Roll20 for combat, but there won't be any custom maps - Just a grid system for movement and range questions. I also use discord for video/audio.
Gameplay details
In Session 0 we can discuss any and all concerns with content. I don't usually run games that have very dark settings, but it is a fantasy game so there will be death, trickery, swearing, and general skull-duggery.

How will character creation work
For the one on one session zero, we can generate stats. You can use physical or digital dice. I use the "4d6 drop the lowest" method for stat generation. Once generated you can assign those numbers to any stat as you please. I will offer advice, if needed, on stat placement.
