Lost Dungeon
Dungeons & Dragons 5e | One-Shot
About the adventure
"You are an adventurer. Or maybe you’re a group of adventurers. Whatever. Why are you here? Nobody cares. Don’t tell me your backstory. None of that matters in your current situation. Your only motivation is to survive and return to your reality—if you even have a life left behind. Now get ready to roll some dice!" In this game, our characters find themselves trapped in an incomprehensible dungeon and set out to unravel its mysteries. Will they be lost forever in the corridors of the dungeon, never to see the light of day again? Or will they manage to find their way out?
Game style
Dungeon Crawl
A “Dungeon Crawl” is a scenario where players navigate a dungeon or labyrinth-like environment for the entirety of the adventure. It emphasizes battling monsters, collecting loot, and avoiding traps to survive to the end!

How to prepare
We gather on a Discord server, which can be accessed through a browser or the app. A microphone and speakers or headphones are essential for communication, and while a webcam is appreciated, it’s not mandatory. Players can request an invitation to the server to create their characters or transfer pre-made ones before the game. For new or inexperienced players, I’ll provide a quick introduction to the system and assist with character creation—or I can create a character for them if they prefer.
What I provide
We stick to the rules as long as they serve the story. Of course, we don’t mess with the rules in the middle of combat—everyone needs to be on the same page. But if a player wants to try something creative or improvise, we don’t waste time digging through the rulebook. We just roll with it, and I make the final call as the GM. I do my best to describe every scene in as much detail as I can, and I love giving every character their own voice and personality to make them stand out. For tools, we use D&D Beyond for character sheets and dice rolls, and Owlbear Rodeo for battle maps with dynamic lighting. I use custom maps I’ve created specifically for the game to make things more immersive.
Gameplay details
We begin by introducing ourselves and sharing our past experiences with the genre. This is also an opportunity for players to communicate any sensitivities or boundaries they’d like the table to be aware of. Once that’s done, we create our characters using D&D Beyond, or I can provide pre-generated characters for those who prefer to dive straight into the action. When everything is ready, we kick off the game, taking a break about halfway through to recharge before continuing. Once we wrap up the session, I like to gather everyone’s thoughts, how they felt about the experience, what they enjoyed, and any feedback they might have for me as the GM. And of course, if you had a great time, don’t forget to leave a glowing 5-star review! 😊
