These games will frequently find the party talking with NPCs, exploring the personal elements of their backstories, or even having emotional moments around the camp fire.
This is a character creation for the Dungeons & Dragons 5e Ravenloft campaign setting. Please check with your game master if you intend to play this character. I will be using the 2014 Player's Handbook, Xanathar's Guide to Everything, Tasha’s Cauldron of Everything, Van Richten's Guide to Ravenloft, and some homebrew including some weapons with vaguely defined traits and a Chimera Lineage for Wear-folk or Jekyll & Hyde type characters. This is a character cast from the Tarokka deck so come prepared to play any type of character.

Homebrew Rules – Tweaks and additions to better fit the horror setting.

We will not go into any content that you are not comfortable with. I will let players know if any of the cards drawn have a trigger warning and give them the option for alternatives.

How will character creation work
This is character creation for any Domain of Dread or Gothic Horror campaign that uses D&D 5e. All you need is a pencil and paper to track the character creation process. I will send you an image of the cast cards and explanation of the reading after our session.
