Remember the golden decade of the 2000s and early 2010s? It was so close to a perfect paradise that it seemed as if vampires had vanished and their machinations had stopped. But it was only a short, rare hiatus. Look around now. A new dark age is coming, perhaps as long, pervasive and terrible as the Middle Ages, or perhaps only as short and stylish as the 90s, but a dark age nonetheless. War looms, conflict arises, overall tension intensifies: social, economic, global, physical, mental, interpersonal, social, economic, global, physical, mental, interpersonal. And who's behind it all? Hard to say. But there is no doubt that vampires have returned. 🔥 PLOT 🔥 In this game, I offer a multi-perspective narrative on the intersection between the criminal underground and the dark supernatural layers of a fictional take on current Spain. Expect multiple POVs spanning different tiers of the power pyramid, together with strong narrative elements such as flashbacks, parallel scenes, elipsis, and more.

I'm looking for people with attention to detail, passionate for good stories, who enjoy a multi-pov, multi-layered style of plot. This story is best suited for proactive players who don't fear taking the spotlight. Ideally, webcam and speaking in character. No experience in Vampire or in any ttrpg is required for this game. No books or any other material required.

How to prepare

Gameplay details
📕🧠 Language matters 🧠📕 Realistic use of Spanish/English = Your character's level of Spanish corresponds with your own. This means: The game will be conducted in English, and so will do most of the plot, as many NPCs will speak English accordingly, but sometimes NPCs will choose or have to speak Spanish, adding narrative richness and a fun, in-game liability/perk. You can also use this opportunity to make this game your weekly "Spanish tandem" hour as a way to practice or develop your Spanish 🎉🎉

How will character creation work
We will develop your characters during the first few sessions as we set the story running. Be prepared to improvise, to role-play secondary characters, until we narrow down on your main character. Later on, once your character is narratively defined, we will make the character sheet. In my experience, this sets a strong narrative mood and increases the intrigue and uncertainty that fit so well with the setting and genre of this game.
