Game style
Rule of Cool (RoC)
“Rule of Cool” emphasizes creative story beats over sticking to a system’s rules as written. Players have the ability to push the limits of the rules or even break core rule mechanics at times if the Game Master thinks it is interesting, fun, or cool enough.
Combat Heavy
“Combat Heavy” games emphasize the combat mechanics within their systems over roleplay or puzzle solving. There are frequent and longer battles with enemies and a greater emphasis on tactical game play.
Roleplay Heavy
“Roleplay Heavy” games place the focus on the story, the characters, and the world they live within, and tend to lean hard into the various roleplaying elements of the game. These games will frequently find the party talking with NPCs, exploring the personal elements of their backstories, or even having emotional moments around the camp fire.

How to prepare
just a mic, roll 20, and discord and you set. If your lacking dnd beyond we can use roll 20 instead.
What I provide
Honestly I do not have a lot in the way of DND Beyond content. I use roll20 for combat. I like to make my own tokens and sometimes background art with AI. I have been experimenting with using AI more in my games. If that's something your not ok with please let me know. I will keep it to tokens. If you like music while you play i have spotify playlists for you to listen to while we play (its mostly the baldurs gate 3 soundtrack). I create all my maps personally threw Inkarnate. I have a discord server (literally nothing special) for communication, notes, the mentioned session 0 list of stuffs, loot, and everything else..... I enjoy structure in my games to set the baseline. However, I love the rule of cool most and embrace out of the box thinking. Always do the cool thing! ALSO!!! The more backstory you bring into the game the more I will try to weave that into the narrative. For good or bad we shall see.....
Gameplay details
I am here for every single player that comes to my V Table. Everyone and every table is different. I will always have a very respectful Session 0. But, prior to that I will have clearly communicated with each player individually to find out everything I need to bring a session 0 that sets clear boundaries that is specific to the table and people playing at it. Those boundaries will be typed and posted to be viewed of course. and if amendments or changes need to be made then the players will have their chosen choice of how to address that, I will converse with the others, not reveling anyone if they so choose so. and changes can be made. I do not want anyone feeling any kind of way other then having fun and enjoying roleplaying with each other.

How will character creation work
Up to the players. If they want to create in session 0 that's cool. I would prefer to have the players already have their characters built and ready at that point. I want time to create some AI art for those that want or need it. as well as time for anyone that wants to have a backstory implemented at all it gives me a chance to do that. but it does make it hard for players to show up already friends. So please mention to me if that is something you want ill make sure the others know and i can get us all in a chat to discuss how that pans out. I like death to be a real factor in the game. However, a TPK is BS. So, to ensure combat is fun and eventful, lets you the players be a little more powerful then normal, I do it a bit different. -HP is always max. when you level up just add your max from your hit die. -When selecting your ABI points. select point buy. When your points are spent scroll down and add 2 ABI points wherever you like. -I allow all published species, classes, and subclasses. if you wish to run something homebrewed or unearthed arcana or whatever it be, build it lemme see it and we can go from there. I allow most things unless its too broken. -This will be a starting lvl 6 adventure (unless the players want me to scale it up or down I can do either). You will start with 1 rare and uncommon item or you can have 3 uncommon items of your choice. -When players hit level 4, 8, 12, 16 you get both ABI and a Feat
