Join us as we explore the untamed world of The Wildsea! We'll explore uprooted ruins, hunt squirrel leviathans, and carveout an existence in the weirdest, wildest setting you've ever experienced! The Wildsea is a Forged In The Dark adaptation focused on exploration, salvage, and discovering how weird a world can get! We'll work to assemble our crew and decide on our mission together, and shape this wild new world into an epic adventure!
Game style
Theater of the Mind
“Theater of the Mind” uses little to no visuals for scene settings and combat. Instead, the narrative imagery comes from the Game Master’s descriptions and character action and movement comes from Players’ descriptions.
Dungeon Crawl
A “Dungeon Crawl” is a scenario where players navigate a dungeon or labyrinth-like environment for the entirety of the adventure. It emphasizes battling monsters, collecting loot, and avoiding traps to survive to the end!

How to prepare
You will need a Discord account, as that's the app we'll be playing over. On that note, a microphone will be required, but whatever built-in mic your headset/laptop/phone/tablet has will be fine. I would like you to be on camera if able, but it's not a requirement. I will be sharing a Dropbox folder with the books and character sheets, and the only dice you will need are d6s (6 at most)
What I provide
The Wildsea, as written, is a game that is very much built around the players, and I will be leaning into that. Otherwise, I am a big advocate for the Rule Of Cool, and I do my best to provide character voices for the NPCs. I will provide PDFs of the two primary rulebooks for players to utilize.
Gameplay details
The first thing we will talk about in session zero is lines and veils. I take these very seriously, and I will make sure to provide space for each player to share their boundaries (I have a few of my own). The X card will be in play for anything that unexpectedly becomes too much for people, and any need to step away from the table is respected.
