Weekly Wednesday One-Shots! | Level Varies Week by Week!
Dungeons & Dragons 5e | One-Shot
About the adventure
Welcome to Weekly Wednesday One-Shots! Each week there will be a different scenario ranging from a heist for an ancient artefact to slaying an Ancient Dragon in its lair! Deep in the heart of the Spine of the World the ancient white dragon, Wyxiir lies in his lair. Your party has been tasked with the elimination of this Greatwyrm... Preparing for a heist requires steps, carful and meticulous planning, which is what you have been doing. Sent a letter about a priceless artefact being on display tonight, that if you can steal will sell for thousands of gold... Scowling from a tower a Death Knight looks out over his vast territory their eyes burning in the depth of the helm they wear. The eyes of this tyrannical undead linger on the horizon... ---- All of these One-Shots are welcome to all players of any skill level. We will be using 2024 rules going forward and character creation and rules for each week will be listed in the discord!
Game style
Dungeon Crawl
A “Dungeon Crawl” is a scenario where players navigate a dungeon or labyrinth-like environment for the entirety of the adventure. It emphasizes battling monsters, collecting loot, and avoiding traps to survive to the end!
Rule of Cool (RoC)
“Rule of Cool” emphasizes creative story beats over sticking to a system’s rules as written. Players have the ability to push the limits of the rules or even break core rule mechanics at times if the Game Master thinks it is interesting, fun, or cool enough.
Combat Heavy
“Combat Heavy” games emphasize the combat mechanics within their systems over roleplay or puzzle solving. There are frequent and longer battles with enemies and a greater emphasis on tactical game play.

How to prepare
Things you will need: - a microphone - google or an equivalent browser (I recommend OperaGX) - discord - a D&D Beyond account, although you will not need books bought I will share sources with you. - a Roll20 account, as this will be where the game is played while characters are made on D&D Beyond - Beyond20, which is a google chrome extension that links D&D Beyond with Roll20
What I provide
We will use Roll20, (for its VTT) D&DBeyond (for its character sheets/content sharing) and Discord (for voice chatting.) Battlemaps, ambient music and dynamic lighting will be provided for immersive gameplay. LGBTQ+ and newbie friendly!
Gameplay details
Decent paced combat not rushed or fast, if you need time to decide and ask questions ask away. Roleplay wise I do like it as many do, so long as it doesn't make anyone uncomfortable. Rules, I don't try to stick to them too much outside of necessary ones. For anything you are uncomfortable with, please speak up. Or if you need to I have my PM's open to my players.
