About the adventure
New to D&D or TTRPGs in general? Looking to get your feet wet and learn what this thing is all about? You've come to the right place! This is a beginner friendly environment, where you will be introduced to the concepts of roll-playing and how to interact with the 5e system. We will start with an overview of how the game works, basic rules of the game, table etiquette, character creation, and a short session to get your first rolls in! There will be plenty of time for walk-throughs and questions, so please come with all of them. I'll be running the game at level-1 in a simple setting environment that has been tested on many new players, so rest assured you will, most likely, not die... Teaching new players is one of the most rewarding parts of the job for a DM, so this session will be free!

How to prepare
Mic is required, webcam highly encouraged. If you choose to use an online character sheet, have it downloaded or your account created for your chosen website. Other than the technical stuff, come with an open mindset prepared to have a blast!

I have the majority of the content on D&D Beyond. You are welcome to message me if you'd like to work on adding specific content to your character. You can also expect plenty of patience and personal interaction from me. I like to engage with people and make you feel welcome.

How will character creation work
I highly encourage you to do some research in character creation before the session. This will help you understand what is available and give you a good idea of what we'll be doing. Please reach out if you have any questions, or need recommendations of where to start. You will also need a method for tracking your character. This can be with a pen and paper, or printed character sheet. They can also be digital if you prefer to keep it on your device. I recommend D&D Beyond. It is a great tool for beginners to see their options and walk through the creation steps.
