About the adventure

This campaign is predominantly a dungeon-crawling adventure filled with thrilling combat, dangerous exploration, and a rich, immersive world. More than just your standard hack-n-slash, however, the campaign features frequent visits to the nearby town of Otari where the party will be able to interact with the local townsfolk, each of whom have unique connections to the narrative unfolding around them. Whether you're a seasoned PF2E veteran or a newcomer looking for a structured challenge, this game will test your tactical prowess, problem-solving skills, and teamwork. Expect deadly encounters, cunning enemies, and a labyrinth of mysteries waiting to be unraveled. I run this game on Foundry VTT, using the beautifully-designed official Abomination Vaults module, which brings the dungeon to life with stunning maps, dynamic lighting, automated features, and immersive soundscapes. This setup ensures smooth gameplay and allows players to focus on the adventure, rather than the mechanics. My games feature a balanced mix of combat and roleplay, ensuring every session is engaging and cinematic. Players are encouraged to bring their creativity, collaborate with their fellow adventurers, and immerse themselves in the world. If you love the thrill of uncovering ancient evils, battling monstrous foes, and strategizing your way through treacherous dungeons, this is the game for you!

About me

Hello adventurers! My name is Stephen. I'm an experienced DM that has ran over 300 sessions on FoundryVTT. Providing my players a cinematic and immersive experience is important to me, as I'm a video producer in my day job. I was also an elementary/middle school film teacher for 5 years before returning back to the film industry. Great audio, visuals, narration, voice acting, and encounter-design are things you can expect from our sessions. Come try out a game with me - I know you'll have fun!

Character creation

Creating your character

I recommend players build their characters in Pathbuilder and then I'll help them import their character sheets to Foundry.

The current party

One slot is open and we're about 40% of the way through the campaign! The party is currently 7th level and is comprised of: -Elf Cleric -Gnome Bard -Goblin Alchemist -Strix Rogue

What to expect

Preparing for the session

An upgraded Pathbuilder account is recommended because we're using the following optional rules: Free Archetype, Gradual Ability Boost, and Ancestral Paragon. You'll need to download Zoom and have a webcam and mic for video chat. We communicate between sessions with Discord. It's recommended to test Foundry using the official demo to ensure your computer can run the platform: https://demo.foundryvtt.com/game

What Stephen brings to the table

We play on a private Foundry server for the best PF2E experience possible. Paizo has collaborated with Foundry to produce an incredible module that provides interactive maps for every location in the campaign. It's immersive and beautiful. We use ambient soundscapes and combat music. Zoom is utilized for video calls and between-session communication occurs on Discord. I enjoy providing unique voices for each character the party encounters. Combat is intense and tactical, as we've come to expect from PF2E!
