About the adventure
Under raging storm clouds, the vampire Count Strahd von Zarovich stands silhouetted against the ancient walls of Castle Ravenloft. Rumbling thunder pounds the castle spires. The wind’s howling increases as he turns his gaze down toward the village of Barovia. A lightning flash rips through the darkness, but Strahd is gone. Only the howling of the wind fills the midnight air. The master of Castle Ravenloft is having guests for dinner—and you are invited. This game is not for the faint of heart, or for the squeamish.

Meet the Game Master
About me
Come one, come all! See the fantastic worlds inside, outside, and in between all other worlds! With three years as an in-person Game Master and three years as a player, online games is the next step in gaining more experience as a Game Master. Most experience is with D&D 5e and home brew rules. We now have two years of online experience as a game master! These games are the conglomerations from multiple map building systems, combined for a 4D gaming experience. Yet the maps are only a small portion of the more expansive story telling experience that comes from the players. Each game will be held via a Zoom meeting and each player will receive access to a google drive folder, where their character sheet, campaign notes, and artwork can be stored. Upon the start of the game we will determine avatars to represent each game character. Our lead DM, Tylor has a Bachelor's of Science with a Minor in Communication. He is hard working and dedicated to providing a top notch experience for all who partake in the games. So don't be shy, if you have a question, don't hesitate to ask! Come and meet the fun & wacky or serious & logical NPC's by signing-up for our next scheduled game, or request a private session, either way, good times will be had!

Creating your character
Patrons of The Vagabond Tavern will create their characters before game and upload it to the Discord server 24 hours in advance of game start. We will utilize dndbeyond for character sheet creation. After character sheets are made, they will be imported into the discord server labeled with their characters name. This will be a place where notes are given, artwork is shared, and any other reason the DM decides.
Party has just completed the "Death House" and is preparing to explore the Village of Barovia. Characters are currently level 3.
