The Four Evers- 10 years of peace: LGBT Friendly, Free Session 0
Dungeons & Dragons 5e | Campaign
About the adventure
Join us in 'The Four Evers' for a campaign where your courage, cunning, and choices carve your legacy. It's cold, and it's been weeks since these pirates captured you. Shackled in the dim hold of a ship that creaks ominously with each wave, you and your fellow captives whisper tales of a world on the brink of upheaval. Welcome to the realm of The Four Evers, where the shadows of a 500-year Great War still loom large, and a fragile peace teeters on the edge of chaos. Since the end of the great war, many career soldiers have found themselves without a job so banditry and piracy have become very common and it seems like you have been captured by one such crew, whats stranger is that you have been interviewed on board by a man dressed in red finery that clearly doesn't have the air of a pirate. Meanwhile, in the world, a foreign religion spreads like wildfire, proclaiming the supremacy of humanity and denouncing magic as a scourge. Worse still, non-humans have started disappearing without a trace, their fates shrouded in mystery. As nations exploit the turmoil to their advantage, the secretive Holy Sarmali Queendom stirs human-centric fervor to a boiling point, and you—caught in the crossfires—are about to embark on an adventure that will test your mettle and morals. But you, you are not just a captive to be used, sold or whatever these damn pirates have in store for you; you may have somehow been sucked into a plot to remake the world. In this adventure, you will (hopefully) break free of the pirates and try to uncover why they have been trying to kidnap so many people and what this strange man in red wants with you. The world is getting meaner, will you face this new religion to stop their plot, find out whats happening to the non-humans and deny the gods themselves? Features & extras * Almost all content is available through D&D beyond, we will be using that for the game however I am currently teaching myself Foundry VTT so we may change over to that at some point. * This world was designed by me, I have done 1 campaign lasting 3 years so far and the players seem to love it. The world was developed over a year before I started that first story. * I am currently in a small living situation but I intend to move sooner or later. when I do, the plan is to have more physical real minis on camera rather than digital. * First dibs on seatfiller one shots I sometimes run * Exclusive player discounts on minimegastore.com for all your D&D needs.
Game style
Rule of Cool (RoC)
“Rule of Cool” emphasizes creative story beats over sticking to a system’s rules as written. Players have the ability to push the limits of the rules or even break core rule mechanics at times if the Game Master thinks it is interesting, fun, or cool enough.
Roleplay Heavy
“Roleplay Heavy” games place the focus on the story, the characters, and the world they live within, and tend to lean hard into the various roleplaying elements of the game. These games will frequently find the party talking with NPCs, exploring the personal elements of their backstories, or even having emotional moments around the camp fire.

How to prepare
you can read up more about the world at the world anvil below https://www.worldanvil.com/w/the-four-evers-jenzelta The Four Evers is a world made by me, its named, conveniently, after the Four "Evers", mysterious magical events that have been raging for longer than anyone can remember; The Everstorm, a massive maelstrom of wind and sea located south of the Otusi continent, the ever-present wind and storms cause life on the nearby coasts to be difficult and makes travel by sea treacherous. The influential floating City, Eaglecliff University orbits the Everstorm as a means of protection and to attempt to understand and study this Ever. The Everdark, a region of magical darkness that covers most of the eastern continent of Hurnix, a strange land filled with dangers and creatures that no one have ever seen, yet people still make their home in the Shadowless Mountains that poke up the top of the Everdark and maintain travel and trade through an inventive use of a road of bells. The Everice, Also the name of the frozen northern continent, is considered the twin of the Everstorm as a wall of wind and ice. during particularly bad winters can freeze the northern sea solid forcing ships and travel south near the everstorm, however the Empire has managed an feat of engineering known as the Winter Canal to minimise disruption The Everfire, before people came to this world, it was owned by a titanic dragon by the name of Yurnith. Yurnith butted heads with Rainor, a god who would become the new owner of this world and later invite other gods who would in turn create or bring with them the many races that exist today. Yurnith and Rainor fought for millennia without one coming on top of another until Rainor finally sundered Yurnith's soul from her body. He shattered her soul that became the first dragon kings, each colour, metal and crystal inheriting a different part of her personality. Yurniths body, however, fell and over the next few thousand years became known as the continent of Yurnith's Fall. All the while her gargantuan maw spewed out fire, lava and elementals, This is the Everfire. Today it is fiercely guarded by the Red Dragon King who believes its his destiny to resurrect Yurnith one day. The land of the four evers is a world steeped in lore and politics, if this is of interest to you, please get in touch!
What I provide
I have access to all dnd beyond books, I also can potentially offer miniatures if it ends up being an in person game or if I manage to set up my game space but that will likely be a few months away. I have more or less figured out foundry VTT, while combat is infrequent, I will be using that for any combat.
Gameplay details
its clear in the game that the church pushing human superiority are the bad guys, but I hope for an open and honest talk about what people are comfortable with.
