Published by Free League, Chariot of the Gods is an action-packed cinematic scenario that serves as a perfect introduction to Alien RPG. You will play Space Truckers forced to answer an enigmatic SOS while carrying a casual cargo mission. The characters, the setting, the situations you will have to jump in, everything is made to give you the Alien vibes you have been looking for. But with a twist, because no one is really who you are expecting them to be. The scenario should last only 3 sessions. However, it’s also the first part of the original Alien RPG trilogy, with Destroyer of Worlds and Heart of Darkness. While the second is only loosely connected to Chariots of the Gods, the last is definitely the continuation of the same storyline. As such, I will likely offer you to carry on with Heart of Darkness if we end up having a group working well together and willing to keep playing. What if you don’t know anything about the game? It’s perfectly okay, it’s what introductory scenarios are for, right? I will explain the rules as we play: Game mechanics are pretty simple, with a strong focus on the cinematic experience and characters’ agendas that rarely all go the same way.
