Gameplay details
Lines and Veils: Players are encouraged to message me before or during a game to let me know if there are any topics or themes which they do not want to experience in the game at all (Lines), or that they would rather experience in only very limited detail (Veils). In particular, I recommend checking the Content Warning labels for the game to know what to expect. I am always happy to alter the content of a game to suit the needs of players! X, N, O: By entering these letters into chat, players can indicate their level of comfort with the game while it is going on. An X will result in an immediate change in direction, which may include skipping over or "rewinding" and redoing whatever happened to prompt the X. An N also indicates a player's discomfort, but results in a more gradual avoidance of the topic at hand. An O can be used to signal that a player is comfortable with what's happening at the table, even when their character roleplay may come across as emotionally intense.

How will character creation work
This adventure is designed for level 3 characters! You can create a character using any 5th Edition rulebook, including the new 2024 Player's Handbook. You can determine your stats using either the point buy method or the rolling method. However, if you choose to roll you must do so in front of the DM before the start of the game! You are also welcome to borrow one of the many ready-to-play character sheets that I have prepared.
