About the adventure
Explore an island that mysteriously emerged out of the sea. If you survive its dangerous magic and mysteries, territorial megafauna, and perhaps even a kaiju, you will return home a wealthy hero. I am a Korean-American Japanese-speaking game master bringing my cultural roots and love of language to this adventure. We play in English, but you'll experience Japanese, Korean, and Chinese-inspired names, cultural practices, and vocabulary. You'll also face the wrath of the island, tragic tales of those that failed to survive, and the elementally-infused jungle landscape as you seek fortune and glory. How Suann (Geekstress) creates a safe table
Discord is used for all communication for the campaign. There are channels to discuss character ideas and connections before Session 0. Session 0 is used to finalize character connections, review builds, and address any questions. This should take about 1 hour to complete, and then we get started with campaign. Players will receive a form for the Monte Cook RPG Consent Checklist before Session 0. Once all players have filled the form, an anonymous overview will be provided to the table. Stars and Wishes are done at the end of a session verbally. For those that prefer, submissions can be done through Discord. Stars and Wishes are also when I remind and encourage feedback from players to me as a GM so that I can improve everyone's experience.
