How to prepare

Players should have a discord & roll20 account! In addition should have a decent mic for ample communication. Players should also have their character sheets ready for the first session. The other thing you will need is just an open mind and a fun adventurous imagination!

What I provide

I will bring the knowledge of the game & also carry a players and dungeons masters guide on me for any rules related questions. With that said I use the rules mostly as a bare bones structure for the game and very supportive of player made ideas. I love to focus more on the roleplaying aspect & character interaction of the world as opposed to anything else in tabletop role playing games! I will also host the online platforms we will be participating in and furthermore I can provide music for ambience if that is what the collective would like to listen to as we play through the one off. I can do a few different accents and different character voices as well. I am also very good at improv when unique and unplanned situations in the story occur! Most importantly my main goal is to provide you with an excellent service where you can have fun, relax and take reprieve from the real world as you engage in this fantasy one! I welcome you whoever you might be and where you came from! One of my favorite things in life is to share in the joys of role playing! When we were kids I hope that most of us had the opportunity to play pretend and use our imaginations! As adults we get sucked into the daily grind of the real world via our jobs or other obligations. It is my goal & pleasure to reignite this sense of wonder & imaginations, even if it's just for a couple of hours!

How will character creation work

Players should have their character sheets ready & made at the start of first session. Feel free to choose any Dungeons and Dragons 5e published content to build your character. Players should create their character at level 3. Your starting equipment will be based on how you create your characters with an additional 50 starting gold. Everything else will be normal in terms of the character creation process for 5e. VERY IMPORTANT THAT YOU DO NOT CRAFT A BACKSTORY FOR YOUR CHARACTER! This campaign is based on the premise of figuring out your past as you play through the campaign. It is still okay to choose from one of the many 5e backgrounds to garnish a feature or stat. Instead of generating a backstory craft a list of personality traits that your character would have and if you wish write about what you think your character would be like as they gain power and experience through the story. For example, is your character a headstrong fighter that you wish to become the greatest swordmen alive. Perhaps your character is a shy wizard and as they grow in there magical prowess they finally find their voice and are not afraid to speak out! Have fun with the character creating process!
