About the adventure

"When the mysterious Gauntlight, an eerie landlocked lighthouse, glows with baleful light, the people of Otari know something terrible is beginning. The town's newest heroes must venture into the ruins around the lighthouse and delve the dungeon levels far beneath it to discover the evil the Gauntlight heralds. Hideous monsters, deadly traps, and mysterious ghosts all await the heroes who dare to enter the sprawling megadungeon called the Abomination Vaults!" "Abomination Vaults" is a Pathfinder 2e adventure for four or more 1st - 10th level characters. The adventure starts in the town of Otari, where an eccentric fortune teller has expressed her worries of seeing the distant Gauntlight glowing. She expresses her worries about the safety of the town and hopes that, for the first time, her visions are not true.

About me

Hello and welcome, folks! My name is Mark, I am 24 years old, and I have been DMing Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition for 8 years. I have always been a fan of fantasy since I was a kid watching the Lord of the Rings trilogy and playing Warcraft 3 on our family PC. I vividly remember my friend (whom I still play with) bringing his brother's D&D 3rd edition books and creating characters, only to make new ones every time we wanted to play again. Furthermore, I later stumbled upon a little known show called Critical Role and got hooked on the idea of cooperative storytelling, adventure and role-play. Re-discovering what D&D was had sent me down a rabbit hole into fantasy media like never before, and still has me hooked.  I live in the Central Europe Timezone (CET) and I usually run games at 6:00 AM or 6:00 PM, my time. I am willing to run at games at any other time besides night-time hours (10pm-5am CET). I welcome all players, and love teaching the rules of 5th Edition D&D to newcomers. Not only that, but I am confident in my knowledge and experience with the system and can guarantee a smooth game, no matter how complex a situation arises. New or experienced to Tabletop RPGs, I cannot wait to have the opportunity to play with you and unravel the amazing adventures you will set upon.

The current party

This campaign will begin with the Beginner's Box adventure - Menace under Otari (Levels 1-2). The starting adventure is great for beginners learning most mechanics that Pathfinder Second Edition offers, and will lead into the Abomination Vaults. Abomination Vaults is an adventure that slowly unravels its mysterious story as you dungeon crawl deeper into the depths overcoming difficult battles that will test your teamwork and force you to outwit dangerous traps and spooky haunts. It is run on Foundry VTT with its superb support for Pathfinder 2e and with plenty of beautiful maps, art and music.

What to expect
