About the adventure
The Kingdom of Talrosia has always had it's fair share of problems, whether it be undead hordes roaming in the night, rumors of aberrations walking among or even below the streets, or mysterious disappearances plaguing the land for centuries past, the land was at least unified. That is until 5 years ago when the King passed away from a strange illness. Without having a legitimate heir with the true queen to take the throne, his 5 children born of his consorts now fight for the throne, dividing the land into 5 provinces and refusing to faulter in their war for the crown. Filled with action, mystery, political intrigue and more, what will you do in this time or stress and tension? Will you fight in the name of one of the royals? Will you journey to see if there is a peaceful option among the potential bloodshed? Or, will you find your own purpose until the war comes to you? Either way, be prepared to change the history of this country forever.

Creating your character
Characters will be created prior to the first session. I'll will be happy to help with character backstory that can tie into the setting. • You may use point-buy or a standard array for character creation. If you wish to roll for your stats, we will do a discord call and watch the rolls together. If the total of your rolls for stats are 70 or below, you may reroll all stats. • Level 3. • Fixed HP, or you may role online, rerolling 1's. milestone leveling. • You'll gain full access to my combat rules and homebrew table rules after joining and being added to my discord server.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Required: Discord - Free Discord account for voice chat (https://discord.com/) Roll20 - Free Roll20 account to join the table https://app.roll20.net/create-account Microphone - A good working mic and a quiet environment so that we can hear you. Reliable Computer/Internet Connection - A reliable computer and stable Wifi is needed to make sure that you don't miss anything and we don't miss your input. We'll run audio/video through Discord and load maps with dynamic lighting and music in Roll20. Optional (but appreciated): Headphones - Only to minimize echo and help with your listening experience Webcam: I believe that showing your face on webcam helps with party interaction, engagement, and general enjoyment. If you do not have a webcam, cannot use one, or for any reason do not want to show your face, that is completely fine. Whatever makes you most comfortable.
What SammyV brings to the table
As a DM, I will be bringing custom maps made with Inkarnate, mini's, ambient music, and full access to Roll20's services, as well as all content published by official and 3rd party creators on D&D Beyond. I utilize character voices and mini's created by me using Hero forge. If anyone would like assistance in creating or adjusting their character mini on Hero forge, I am more than willing to help. If you would prefer official character art or art found elsewhere for your character, that is completely fine. As a Storyteller I will be bringing over a decade of experience in theatre, voice acting, storytelling, and D&D knowledge/experience.
